U dnt have many options when u travel along the road. Special if u pass the junction to turn to Waimate if u r traveling towards Oamaru. As soon as u See Glenavy name board, this store is there for u. Like the first option u might find. They offer coffee, hot food, groceries, soft drinks and even a little dine in.

Looks well stocked but couldn’t try the food as the kitchen closes at 6:30pm so if you’re after hot food make a point of heading down earlier in the evening.

Popular store with passing traffic as well as locals. Good range of items and well stocked.

Decent store that cater for those on the go, especially the truckers that drove along the highway 1. Requested double expressor + a scope of vanilla ice cream to the owner and he complied. It resulted with a beautiful treat. In fact, it helped in my next journey well alert. Good job, friend.

Very friendly staff. Went in to get some fish and chips and the male staff member was very friendly and even took the rubbish off our hands when finished. You can dine in here which is an added bonus.  Decent range of products for sale too.
