We had a very unique experience here. Booked the dinner in filed of light experience. 5 hours tour: with sunset uluru dinner in the central of dessert and enjoy the field of light last but not least. It was quite cold at night so make sure wear long pants and bring jacket with you. The staff was funny any nice.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Stunning sight to see. Easy to navigate. Would have appreciated a follow up email/instructions from tour provider closer to the event - no contact after initial booking confirmation. But ularu is a small place and easy enough to figure out for yourself. Gorgeous lights, must see bucket list item :
Stunning! Unbelievable! What more can I say. Haunting? Watching the lights from the platform then walking down into them was beautiful. Then walk back up to watch the sun rise and the lights dim and the colour of the rock come to life!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Firstly, we weren’t picked up, and had to wait 40 minutes for the second session - not knowing if we would actually get to go. It would have been beautiful, if we knew where the path was… there were no clear markers, and it was dark so everything looked like a path. Staff were all off laughing and chatting to themselves. Wouldn’t recommend, and it’s a shame, because it could have been such a fantastic experience
This was just an amazingly wonderful experience. First watching the sunset and then walking amidst thousand of lights spread out like a field was just mesmerizing. All lights tun on solar power which is so good,
Experienced this after a dinner under the stars, it's just amazing to see & hear how the idea was formed. A beautiful attraction to see. A Tip - bring a torch with you or use your phone pathway is very dark and their occasionaly is a tree or bush you may bump into Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Mesmerizing. This field of colorful lights is something to experience when in Uluru. Gazing at the mighty uluru to darkness and the vast land will be filled by more than 50k lead lights. You’re going to Uluru at least once in a lifetime so better experience everything the outback Australia has to offer.
We did the sunset tour with canapes. The team did well to provide gluten free canapes in a separate box with my name on them. They weren't amazing but they were good and I didn't feel like I missed out. Drinks were free flowing with sparkling, wine, beer and soft drinks. The exhibit itself was amazing and just stunning to see the transition of light across it. We took our time and used the full session to meander through while most others rushed to the end for some reason.
Palya! We had checked in at Emu Walk Apartment, at Uluru. Had done the Walk at Uluru read my other post/review. By evening we took the bus to destination - Field of Light. We were first entertained with drinks and snacks, and the host explained the walk to the amazing field of light. What a spectacular view and worth every penny. The sunset view of the Uluru was beautiful and walk were pleasant. Using the 'night' mode on my mobile to capture the beautiful lights.. We took the longer path, approx. 30 mins but not enough to enjoy, we were told to head back to the bus pick up area. So make sure you plan your time and capture as much as photos while walking thru these lovely lights.
Purchased a star pass for $100 pp to take advantage of canapes and drinks, lookout view over the lights and a walk through the lights. The general entry pass is about $70. Bus picked us up and arrived just in time for sunset. Provided with one type of wine and beer. Canapes were a blue cheese profiterole, kangaroo slider, sweet potato pancake and salmon/pea sandwich stack. 0% vegan and 50% vegetarian. I was waiting for more options when it was suddenly last drinks! The sun had barely sunk when we were commanded to move down into the lights to walk through for 20 minutes before boarding the bus in the bottom carpark. It would have been nice to observe the lights in the darkness from the lookout. After all that's part of what the extra cost was for. The lights weren't my cup of tea. Had no relationship with the surroundings and walking through for 5 minutes is enough as it's just more of the same. No 'show' as such and a lot of bulbs were out. My electrician husband picked it straight away! Overpriced experience only for those who want to say they've been there, done that in my humble opinion. Put the money towards a price of local art is my recommendation
