Fiddlesticks

The food here was amazing, they have a very basic menu in the sense there is a lamb, beef, chicken, vege, pasta and fish option but they do all of their food so well. Everything was absolutely delicious and well cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

We went for the first time, and what a surprise... The flavours were just amazing. The lamb shoulder, Akaroa salmon, kids tempura fish so good that we ordered 3 portions as we couldn’t stop eating. All in all, a lovely restaurant, with delicious food and great service well worth a visit. Well done team. Cheers!!!

I went here for lunch with my family and everything was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and the environment was very relaxing. I got the risotto and it was creamy, hearty, and delicious. Other members of my party got the chicken salad very tender and juicy and the cured salmon. Overall, a great place to dine in a very central location.

One of the most delicious Salmon that I’ve ever had! It tasted wonderful, a bit salty combined with juice… although it was a bit undercooked I always make Salmon well-cooked, I did enjoy have it. Its Lamb shoulder was also delicious, but I tried only a bit portion :. Very nice and beautiful environment. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Unbelievable value for such a great meal. Was in Christchurch for the weekend with a friend and booked here for early dinner lucky we booked as was full early. The food was amazing and such great value for the high quality. We couldn’t believe how cheap it was when paying. Great wine list too. Highly recommend the chicken salad - simple but delicious.

We were actually booked at another restaurant we went there and they were closed so we rang fiddlesticks and they said come on down we have a table for you the food was absolutely amazing the lamb shoulder I didn't even need a knife the cocktails were also on point and the caramel dessert is a must very good staff and such a good experience will definitely be back

First timer for a quick meal before a show and I was pleasantly surprised … service was efficient, speedy and food superb albeit one item. The generous portion sizes for starters ie polenta fries puts many others to shame. The duck liver pâté’ was divine. The let down was the pork bites,smaller than expected with 4 small ‘tough n chewy’ pork cubes in a large bowl … these cannot be recommended from our experience.

Amazing place. Amazing food and the service was really good. FFC is just too good. A bit disappointed with the bao. Didn't enjoy the the combination of Bao and bbq sauce. The creamy mushrooms are to die for

The food was delicious. The place is very busy, lucky we make a reservation. The reservation system are easy to navigate.Food: 4/5
