It's been many many years since I've enjoyed going to the gym but this gym is something special! Everyone is super friendly! Classes are wonderful and varied. The childcare onsite is absolutely amazing and allows me to workout two to three times a week with great classes that align to that schedule! I'm so glad I signed up in November! Only regret is that I wish I'd joined a year earlier!

I really love working out here! The staff have created such a comfortable and supportive environment, and really accommodate to our needs. I love walking through the door everyday to be welcomed by the staff's smiling faces. Such a good range of classes, and I highly recommend the FIIT30 classes!

Fantastic gym. Warm friendly staff and trainers. I have joined recently and the childcare onsite is great. It allows me to workout with good classes, I highly recommend FIIT30, that align to the childcare schedule. Membership is very reasonable too.

Really disappointed with this gym. I saw some negative reviews about their contracts before I signed up and I wish I listened to my gut instinct. I'm pregnant and on top of that have an injury that prevents me from using the gym. Their contract clearly states that if you can't use the gym due to a medical condition for 12 months or more you are released from the contract. There is a discretionary admin fee $75 admin fee according to the contract anyway to process the cancellation on medical grounds. After submitting a medical certificate particularising my condition, I was informed that further evidence is required and asked to provide specific details about my injury to the unsympathetic person on the phone. This gym doesnt even follow their own contract but must make a fair bit of money from all the hidden fees which they do actively go after. My advice is to read the the contract carefully and ask lots of questions before signing. This aside, the yarraville gym seemed pretty ordinary to me. The facilities are clean but the equipment is old and I didn't feel very welcome there other than when extra services were being pitched to me. If you are tossing up between a few gyms, do yourself a favour and don't go to this one.

Absolutely love this gym , the group classes are fantastic and a real workout, and the instructors and staff are so kind and helpful!

Get wood is a gym just for ladies. Gorgeous environment, friendly staff, variety of guided classes, everything is so clean and in the right place! You can feel very safe there and confortable as well no matter what time you go. It’s open 24/7. They have private parking. I love Saturday morning yoga classes there ! You should try it!

Honestly surprised at the low rating for Fernwood Yarraville. I’ve been a member for over a year and couldn’t imagine training anywhere else. The staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable. Chiara, Tash, Sarah and Deb have always made me feel extra welcome. During covid every membership was paused at no cost and when I was recovering from surgery my membership was also paused with no cost during the time I wasn’t able to workout. Fernwood is an amazing community of women and couldn’t recommend this gym more x

A welcoming atmosphere and the most attentive and friendly staff you will come across. Its my first time joining a gym and i dont think i would have kept it up without the constant assistance, understanding and patience of the staff at Yarraville. Always there for support and never judge. Great programs and work out equipment. The classes are fun and very enriching. Yoga, pilates, virtual classes and lots more. PT and  group programs. Excellent.

Be careful when you sign the contract with them. I got pregnant then could not go the gym, put my membership on hold for a year....suddenly got charged without any form of notification or discussion rather than a text message. I ask them how would I go to the gym while being a full time carer for my 5 months old boy and get back to work at the same time?? - do not care - you signed the contract we have to charge you Advise: please change your bank card as soon as you put your membership on hold or if you do not want to use this gym anymore.
