Had been a while since my last visit to the Middle, in other words Ferntree Gully Hotel. It was probably pre-Covid times. So I've now found out they run "Feast" a food buffet bistro with enough choices of food to please all tastes. Pizza, pasta, Asian, Roast, Seafood, Salads, and a good selection of both hot and cod desserts. It is not 5 star food but at $35 a head for adults, $15 per child, it is good decent quality. Particular favorites on the night I visited was the Sweet and sour pork, the butter chicken, the tiramisu and sticky date pudding. At that price a visit is definitely a good night out.
We had a group booking for our Lions Club to celebrate Christmas at Feast. As I have intollerances I couldnt have most of the yummy food. I would like to say a special thank you to Chef Benny. He went out of the way to make me a portion of fried rice and vegatable chop suey and sent it to my table. This is real customer service. Thank you so much Benny you are a legend.
Great space for parties with three different function rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was nice and they came around regularly to see if we needed anything and offer drinks. Would recommend if you were having a large party to give them I go just not sure on the price to hire a function room out. Will be going back to have a sit down dinner.
The staff are very friendly and the chefs were very knowledgeable about ingredients for people with allergies. There isn't a lot of food which suits our child with dairy and egg allergies unfortunately but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed it. Well priced for a big meal. I particularly liked the other pork sliders, the lasagna, seafood salad and fresh donuts.
Had a good time @The feast, Ferntree Gully Hotel. Food was pretty good for a buffet. Not outstanding, but wasn't disappointed. Price was very reasonable. Staff were very attentive. Amenities were nice and clean. Plenty of parking behind the building. ------------- Repeatability: I'd probably come back again.

Nice place for friends to gather. Buffet style menu catering for most tastes. Prices reasonable. Only downfall ..... you HAVE to purchase a meal to be seated. You can't just get a drink there and socialize.
You don't go to a buffet if you want great food. This is a fun place to visit with the kids. From savory dishes to sweet treats, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was decent and I was impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. It was a satisfying experience and I would definitely recommend.
Has a fairly new high quality buffet upstairs which offers a great range of all you can eat food. Main downside is the price is a little on the steep side with no discount for lunch or mid-week visits. Can also take advantage of bar specials which can help reduce your costs. Bring on some discount offers for 5 stars.
My new favourite place on earth! Been there several times in last few months, food is lovely, well managed and staff are fabulous! See you again soon xx
