I fly in from interstate every now and then to work in an office around the corner. This place is close for lunch and the food looks good so I try it again every now and then but every single time leave half of it behind. Looks good, tastes terrible. The schnitzel particularly tastes like it’s cooked in cold oil. The batter is just mushy slop. The dim sim were both rock hard and drowned in soy. So if you like eating rocks and drinking soy, they are for you. The almond croissant was surprisingly edible.
Good cafè, clean-opened off main streets, nice atmosphere, service fast & friendly, food tasty and reasonably priced, decent choices and size. Good coffee.
Great coffee, a bit fi the French flavour in the vibe and of course some quick brekkie and lunch options. Great place to flip open the laptop and smash out some work over a coffee or grab some colleagues for a catch up. Love that they open early and the hot food is great. Consistently friendly service and many regulars here. Give it a go!
Good coffee, nice food plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking difficult.
Some food is great, the sausage rolls are either vegetarian or vegan and this is not advertised and horrible to say the least. Coffee is average to good.
Not bad.... but not great. The sausage rolls were crazy hot on the inside and ice cold on the outside.... I'm guessing chef mic was in the house.
Alright for convenience but product not up to scratch. Potato cake was dry, burnt and cold. Sandwich was ok but too expensive for what it was. Will try other places.
They make up their prices on the spot tried charging $8 for something marked $4.50 :/ food was fine but the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth
The food is a combination of hot meals, sandwiches and the occasional burger on a thursday. It would be nice to have more burgers since the burger and the fries are pretty good. The hot meals could be a bit more consistent in selection and taste as some days its awesome and others its not so great although the roast is generally tasty and has become my go to. The presentation of the food on the plate could also be improved a bit plus its not the cheapest cafe so be prepared to spend at least 10 dollars for lunch. That being said its a safe bet that youll find something appetizing from the hot meals or sandwiches and burgers. It can be a great place to have lunch and sit outside but watch the birds.
I have been there about 6 times! And everytime the food and service has been great! Even under current circumstances! Well done and thankyou!
