Clean, tidy and well maintained. Staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you have any questions they are more than happy to answer them. Definitely worth the visit.
Pretty cool place to stop and have a wander around. - didn't particularly like being followed around by the gentleman there, was nice to be told about the history of everything but we felt rushed , particularly as we had a toddler with us. I'd go back, but hope to be left to walk around ourselves
The history preserved in here is fantastic and the short video well worth watching. Wonderful that someone had the vision to ensure the wheels still turn on request.
Interesting piece of innovation history. Friendly chap John O'Reilly on reception happily took groups through and talked about what was involved with running Fell engine over the Remutaka Incline.
Great little museum very interesting Worth going to see
SHUT!! We travelling around, looking for sight seeing attractions from way up north, but it's shut all week. Very disappointed.
Must do if your in Featherstone. Passionate staff do a great job of explaining the Fell engines design and use.
