We heard good things and was pleasantly surprised. Where else can you have super fresh chopped food while you wait food and enjoy a game of table tennis??? We had roast duck that comes with rice and veggies, quite the meal in itself as was the wonton soup it was BIG, fried rice with egg and finally chicken and sashes nuts. We had so much food left over we took it home for dinner. All super tasty. One thing to note. No EFTPOS / credit cards so you have to have cash or do a bank transfer. We did a bank transfer and it was fine.
Authentic Cantonese food. These are what we eat at home. Went there four times already, ordered different things every time and we enjoyed it very much. Reasonable prized food with good portion. We felt very spoiled as we dined here to celebrate Mid-autumn Festival. Fengfeng, the owner, gave us homemade cupcakes for free. I would highly recommend it.
Great authentic Chinese food! June was very kind and friendly, even cooking for us past closing time because we didn’t have anywhere else to eat! The mapo tofu, chicken and veggies were great!
Absolutely stunning food in the heart of St Mary’s! Fresh and honest! True flavours and no bottled sauces here! Veg straight from the garden and lamb and beef that actually taste like lamb and beef. Don’t come here thinking it’s your glitzy local formula driven Chinese restaurant- it’s not! It’s so much more!
Great Chinese cuisine. The night we went the chefs were Mum and Daughter. The service was excellent and both were helpful and extremely friendly. All of the dishes were absolutely excellent and they cater for all tastes and requirements. Recommend ? Absolutely.
Fantastic spot for some authentic Chinese food in a small Tasmanian town. Everything made on the spot from fresh ingredients - we had the twice cooked pork and a tofu stir fry, would recommend both. Made for a great lunch stop while we made out way from Binalong Bay to Cradle Mountain. Owner super friendly!
We loved our meal. The staff were great. The food was delicious. The ping pong was competitive.
I'm of Chinese origin and when we came across this little restaurant in the middle of St Marys in regional Tasmania, I had low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised - the food was excellent!! It was real Chinese food - freshly cooked with authentic flavours. We enjoyed our meals so much that we came back the next night for more. St Marys is lucky to have such a great and genuine Chinese restaurant!!
Good portion sizes and food is pretty authentic home style Chinese food. The tofu was a tad oily but the roast pork was great value!
Had the most wholesome night here with the owner of Feed the dragon! We were running late to for an order and she kindly waited for us despite needing to close. Not only this, but as we waited she offered to play ping pong with us. A memorable experience we'll never forget. Thank you
