I always order the tofu and veg pho on a Thursday along with the mini veg spring rolls- definitely a highlight to my day. Delicious and warm and the fresh mind gives it so much extra value and taste.
Really tasty Vietnamese food at a great price. Located in the heart of Subiaco. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It was my first time eating pho at a restaurant serve yourself styleset up like this and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the process including getting my own fresh ingredients from the salad bar. Delicious food and great experience.
Very early dinner with my son. We decided to go for the special with 2 meats. As it turned out there was only 2 available anyway. We started with a Short soup and beef broth. They were ok and at least they were served hot. Our mains came out with Crispy Skin Duck leg and BBQ Pork with fried rice. There was very little meat on the duck but the skin was crispy. The pork was a bit fatty and unfortunately both meats were only slightly warm. The place was empty so the kitchen wasn’t busy.
Excellent service and nice decorations. Food portion was quite generous but flavour wise was average. I ordered beef mongolian qith rice, beef pho, and chicken salad starter. The chicken salad was okay, even though shredded chicken was in tiny portion. Beef pho didn't have strong flavour - they provide self serve condiment, so you can take as many as you want. Mongolian beef was quite nice. Don't mind to return trying other menus as their customer service was great from phone booking until about leaving the restaurant.
The food is good for what you pay. The prices are reasonable and portion sizes big. However, if you're looking for great pho this isn't the right place. There is a self-serve are where you can add sauces and other ingredients to your pho. Without this the soup would be very bland. Service is quick and efficient and you get free tea if you come for lunch.
It’s OK. Average pricing, the vibe is average, meals average about $15 per dish, $4 for the smallest plate of prawn crackers, no toilets on site, service was average and a little cold. I’d say this is probably a good place for Uber eats or takeaway but perhaps not for a dinner out.
It's little place, but very courteous service from the one and only front staff when we were there yesterday early evening. I think the cafe name is a bit difficult to remember or spell out to someone unfamiliar with it. The dishes were very nice and tasty
Don’t do it ... raw chicken! Had the lemongrass chicken bun bowl, it came out and after a few spoons into it something felt weird.. looked inside the chicken and not cooked. Both bowls where taken away ... 25 mins later out they come again ... ONLY WORSE! Chicken still raw, no sauce, not even carrots or cucumber in bowl nor any sign of lemongrass flavour! Wasn’t even asked if the second bowl was ok or sorry that it was raw twice! Such a waste of money $$$$ and lucky nobody has been poisoned! Don’t do it ... it’s not worth your health!
Enjoyed our first experience at this restaurant. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Great value for our banquet for 4. Sorry forgot to take photos of other dishes.
Good flavours in the food. The restaurant has a bit of a stale smell to it. The meat in the pho was a bit chewy and fatty. The satay is nice lots of vegetables.
