I went here for a walk almost everyday during the summer. Great park for jogging, cycling or walking ur dog. Ive seen a lot of people having picnic around the park as well. There are a lot of trees providing shades throughout the footpath area which mean you'll be fine if you don't want too much sunlight on your face.
Big enough park that you can be apart from other. Lush and green. Great place for Box fit
Probably the best public park in Melbourne. Heaps of grounds for cricket, footy, soccer, etc. Great spots for barbeque. Super dog friendly. Toilets, drinking water facilities, shaded walkways. Never very crowded. Has heaps of parking on all sides, but is never enough.
Good play ground area the kids love it there is a basket ball court and barbecue stations there is a public toilet a bit far from the playground
A great local park for just about anything. Sports, walking, picnics you name it. Has everything from open fields to tree lined paths, benches ect.... and not far from the city as well as cafes and other food.
A large Park with plenty of open space for picnics or exercise. There are tennis courts that can be rented as well as public amenities. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants near by, so you can get food and drink to enjoy while you are there
One of our favourite parks to visit for a weekend picnic. Plenty of space and lots of shady trees, playground for the kids and space to throw a frisbee or kick a ball. This park is well maintained and a great family spot.
Great place to take your dog or go for a walk. One can enjoy watching cricket over the weekend as well.
