I have been a local here in Papatoetoe for 30 years and have frequently purchased meals here The store is extremely clean. The food is absolutely devine, cooked to perfection whatever you choose from the menu you will not be disappointed. On a daily, the owners together with their children run this store. A true family business. I recommend the fast horse special! Hope you enjoy the food it's well worth the wait

So I couldn't take a photo of our order because the kids got to it before I did lol. We ordered a $12 combo consisting of 3 fish, 3 sausages, 3 fritters and chips. We also ordered a $6.90 consisting of 2 fish, 2 sausages and chips. Now, there are 3 adults and 3 children eating this so we thought this would be enough.......but it wasn't. The chips for both combos when we put it together was probably a handful, the sausages were those skinny ones like the sizzlers sausages, the fish was yum but to be honest for us adults we only had 3-4 bites out of each fish and as for the fritters they were the size of the top of a 355ml coke can. The food is great but it would be nice if there was more of it and worth the money we paid for it. I could tell the oil in their deep fryer is changed regularly because the batter is always nice and golden brown and crispy. Just wish there was more

Great customer service from the young girls and food tast real good! Thank you to the cooks! And price is totally worth it! Hot chips are on point also if you like crinkle cut

Not good food to greasy they need to use less oil in there food, would be heart attack haven for someone, chips should be crispy not soggy!! They need a proper review of how they prepare things in this takeaway place!! Didn't offer to replace the food either!! Too much oil!!
