Farro is definitely establish as high class supermarket. When you enter into the shop, the fruits and vegetables look absolute A grade. Well and neatly display. I went in to sample some ready made cooked foods. Fish smoke pie is my favourite. Love to shop there.
Deli staff, in particular tall, slight built girl, talks unkindly about customers while working. It was quite quiet in Farro Grey Lynn on Wednesday morning / 1st February, so the horrible remarks made about a customer were easily heard by other customers. I spend a lot of money here but unfortunately will not be coming back. There is a complete lack of professionalism in the deli department, not what you would expect at Farro or anywhere.
Farro has the freshest and best quality veges, and at times it's cheaper than the supermarket. They stock many specialist products like duck and steamed buns..... The wine selection is very good, and I prefer their rose selection to supermarkets. The store has a farmers market, community feel. They offer fresh rolls, salads and coffee. I only buy deli meats from here as the quality is better than supermarket brands. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Always friendly staff, and the deli team put together a box for me in 10 min this morning! Fabulous service thank you.
Vietnamese need roll tastes like chewing on a piece of latex, tiny bit of beef and dry. Breakfast sandwich tasteless, please put salt on eggs, nothing worst than eating eggs with now salt
Usually a great shopping experience and the Check out team were great today as usual, but i think its time management gave the deli team some instruction on customer service. Totally unacceptable service at the Deli today. Dont expect service from this team and you wont be disappointed.
Five stars for me because it is so far the only place in Auckland I can find panettone please let me know if anyone sees any elsewhere. Yes price is an exact triple than that in Europe and obviously there is not a wide selection but that is what I got. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Faro's concern for the environment does not exist. Ever since they stopped slicing ham etc, the usages of plastic packaging has gone through the roof, plus the product packaged is very expensive compared with the times when they where slicing. Somebody should step in and stop their madness!

Love their stores, food is incredible, flowers are so unique and special. Staff are lovely until I got to the cashier. Young lad serving, but I don't know if it is me not dressed for Farro's or he is having a bad day. The food carefully packed by the deli team, was just thrown in a pile after scanning. This included sandwiches, jam doughnuts, etc. I was furious but didn't want to make a scene.
