Farmers, the place that welcomed us here in Benalla to our community of Argentines. Friendly people good food and warm place were for us like these at home a moment. Friendly and patient staff, we tend to be chatty and a bit noisy .
Such a great vibe at this pub especially the expansive outdoor area.nnFriendly bar staff and generous meals at a decent price. Love the Parm Thursdays where the selection of parmigiana's have various tasty toppings.nnHighly recommended! More food pics to come as we head out here more often.nnEdit: gotta love Thursday night Parma's! So many flavours to choose from, great price, amazing chips!

Today's adventure to anywhere ended with us in Benalla around dinner time.nnSo in the spirit of the adventure day, we decided to try somewhere new.nnSo happy we did!!nnWe stopped at the Farmers Arms in Benalla for dinner. We were welcomed by Pete and shown to the dining room. Although the lure of the bar open fire was strong!!!nnThe menu was reasonably extensive and varied,able to cater for most tastes. All at greatnprices. We ordered the porterhouse steak and salt and pepper calamari.nnIn a short time, we received substantial size, well cooked and nicely presented meals that were fantastic.nnService was friendly, drinks were good and all in all it was a cozy night. Especially that fireplace.....did I mention it?nnSome awesome artwork on the building across the road too.nnAnother hidden gem we have uncovered!nnCasual but cosy, neat and tidy, small town pub feel with welcoming vibes.nnDefinitely be back. Thanks!
What an absolute gem! The music is sublime, the ambience is warm and inviting, inside and out. Lots of the patrons make the effort to dress to impress which is fabulous We came for the food and were not disappointed. Soooo good! The lamb shanks were amazing and the steak was one of the best we've ever had! ...the brownie - out of this world!! The whole place is not just a venue, it's a complete experience. Loved all of it! ...we'll be back! Looking forward to a Winter night or two around the outdoor fire pits!
