Its hit and miss.. the fresh section has really improved and i love the market style plus there are always bargains and reductions to be had and this store has such an amazing range of everything my kids love the lolly/sweetie section down side is that often food is out of date on the shelves and ive had quite a few times myself & i have seen other shoppers bringing back meat that is off but they will always replace for you. 90% of the staff are helpful and lovely although none look happy but a few of the staff are rude. I only shop here for odds and ends occasionally that i may have ran out of or forgotten.
Not surprised it's closing. Went 2 weeks ago, some vegies & fruits were soft & rotten but still highly priced. Has always been too warm in vegie section from day one. Place looks disorganized. Most staff were quite rude, too. Hopefully replaced by another better store.
We have taken meat and cold stuff back so many times. I bought a dip from there. It was in date but still had mould on the top when i opened it. The fridges are too warm! Food poisoning of the elderly and sick worries me. Also security around the building would be good too! The lowlifes scabbing money and abusing customers is disgusting! I actually feel sorry for those who have to work there!
Have not been here for years. Mum lived down the road until she passed away so used it to shop. Went there today and was shocked. Dirty, dowdy and the layout is shocking. No deli and the staff look so untidy. The whole centre needs bulldozing nothing in there to attract. This used to be such a nice little local centre with nice little stores and businesses. Could not wait to get away and the people hanging around was unnerving.
A good place for shopping grocery, fresh fruit and veg, and dairy products. But the checkout girls needs to talk to customers better, some times they keep talking with their colleagues while serving the customers and have seen them eating while on checkout. Alot of time they dont ever bother to say Hi or how are you to customers which i think their manager should take notice of.
Absolutely disgusting. Could not wait to get out of the place, bought 2 items, Iced Coffee made my stomach feel odd, I don't think the fridges are cold enough. Started eating my chips and noticed they were out of date!!! Not by much but still, I paid full price!!!
One will always get a good price, however, not a lot of veggie range. Shop is a bit dark, it doesn't make you feel energized or have that therapeutic feeling of grocery shopping compared to that of Coles, Aldi's or woolies. Lighting can make a difference in the shopping ambience.
My local. It's great! This place has everything I need for sooo much less than woollies or coles. I especially love that they have brought in herb and flower seedlings and incredible bunches of cut flowers. The hours are awesome too!
It has all basic groceries and meat available. Prices ate a little bit expensive as compared to big players. Staff is not as warm as what most people are used to at Coles and Woolies.
Friendly staff, good variety generally. Good quality meat at a decent price. It's s bit out of the way but if you're in the area it's worth a look to see if there's any bargains
