Great little cafe! Best breakfast we had on our trip. Lovely staff. Cute decor as well, including the resident friendly cat. Definitely made the list of places to stop on future trips.

We stopped in here for lunch on our way from Roma to Longreach. We enjoyed the place to the degree that we stopped in again on our way back. Sandwiches and food was tasty and fresh.  Prices were quite reasonable. Pleasant atmosphere and surroundings sitting out on the verandah.  Kid-friendliness: Families were present when we arrived  Parking: Plenty of street parking and a large parking area at the rear  Dietary restrictions: Ask and you shall receive

Exceptional service in a small country town. Great coffee, brilliant food, amazing service. Well done and long May your coffee machine run. Well worth stopping at. Plan your trip to take in the food stop.

Stopped at Tambo Fanny Mae's for a pie. Exactly what a homemade steak and mushroom pie should be, packed with chunky steak and whole button mushrooms with carrot and gravy. Crust was perfectly cooked , great place to stop for a decent pie. Coffee wasn't too bad either.

Great little find, an oasis in the desert. How nice to find a place with greenery & shade & fans outdoor seating. The place looks great & the food does not disappoint. Every time I am on way to Cairns inland I make a stop here & never disappointed

Such a pleasant surprise driving into quiet little remote Tambo to find this character-filled cafe. Fanny Mae's quirky decor is refreshing and just nice to be around. My coffee was excellent.

Stopped for a coffee on a 'long haul' and found this place was friendly, coffee was good and their verandah area was very comfortable for my 15 minute stop. Their "art work" was fantastic, I loved the horse sculpture!!

Fantastic setting but average coffee and the staff didn't seem all that enthused.

Great spot to stop after a long drive, had a steak burger and long black coffee both of which were fantastic. Really well priced with a beautiful verandah dining area that lets a cool breeze blow through from the shady trees that border it. Service was spot on and friendly staff brought out my order. Well worth it for sure.

Arrived at 1:50, Saturday 3rd September, when we went to place order at 2pm, we were informed we are now shut. Very disappointing when it is advertised closing at 4pm. A little country town Cafe that can afford to pass up $100 + that we were going to spend, must be a thriving business.
