Dropped in for take-out. Quick service with well cooked and tasty food. Double thumbs up.
We've been customers of this Fish & Chips shop since they were at Algester. The last couple of orders were passable, last nights was almost edible. We always ask for no salt for medical reason , last nights order was loaded with the stuff, the chips were of the poorest quality, lots of off cuts and dark chips, the Dory fish which has always been sweet and lovely to eat was almost non-existent among the thick crust. Sad to say this was our last meal I'll ever buy from them. One more thing, it's been quite a while since slices of lemon were given.
Really enjoyed their fish but stopped going there when they decided to stop selling salads
My husband and I have been getting our fish and chips etc, from this takeaway, for years. They are always generous in their portions and the food is always lovely and fresh. The owners are particularly friendly and helpful. 5 star reviews are rare for me...but Fancy Fish. deserves it. Well done guys!!!!

Staff are nice. Chips are never cooked well and even when you ask for extra extra chicken salt they're very bland. Occasionally the calamari is good.
We ordered the large chips for $7.50, when they were given to me I said, “Is this the large chips”? “Yes” they said, it was half the size of the picture shown. As I did not want to disappoint my family, I then order a medium chips for another $5.00 Barely enough chips to have as a side for a family of 4. $12.50 for hot chips!! They were also soggy and under cooked. Avoid this place
Delicious fish and chips, and love the burgers! Been coming here for years and staff are always pleasant and friendly.
Horrible over cooked cod that made me feel ill. The chips were good. The prices on the paper menu are different to the prices on the boards. We got the 2 cod and chips.
Reasonably priced for the portion served, probably one of the better fish & chips establishment I've come across in the Brisbane southside most of the good ones are in the inner city or bayside area, waiting times can be a bit long but produce is well cooked and fresh. Will be visiting again if I get that fish & chip craving
