These guys were super fast four burgers in 10 minutes + a side of fries. Good clean burgers. The prices were reasonable. It’s a pity these guys don’t do onion ring sides or milkshakes so choices for kids are limited. Good reliable burger.
update, 4 months later chips still leathery/tough :... Nice music, sat outside. Loco burger is perfect since I got the hot ketchup on the side instead of on the burgermakes it too sloppy/hot/sweet. Chips were a bit tough, not as crispy or tasty as fresh ones from common fast food places.Food: 4/5
I went there for lunch today with my daughter. She got satay chicken and I got hot chicken. They were very tasty burgers. It is definitely a good place to get a meal, as my daughter went there yesterday also for a meal with her sister and cousins. The staff were very friendly and polite. The place was tidy. Plenty of tables and chairs if we dined it, but we chose takeaway. I recommend trying this place for a nice burger. They cook fries and have drinks also.
Nice little burger joint tucked away in Blackwood on the Main Rd. Decent choice of burgers with the choice to upgrade to a meal combo with veggie burger options and more. All sauces made fresh in house along with the burger patties, a very nice touch I must say. Customer service was friendly and meal arrived to the table in a decent amount of time. Chips were a tad crispy but you could order to your liking, they also have a nice range of dipping sauces to compliment your fries for $1.50. My overall experience was good and I recommend popping in to give them a try, supporting local SA business at the same time.
Great range of burgers to choose from - we ordered lots and everything came out at the same time, after a short wait, nice and hot. Eveyone was happy. Delicious chips too - crunchy and not too greasy. One staff member in particular was very friendly, attentive and helpful.. Thank you!
Never been here before, but it was a really fantastic and positive experience. The burger was fantastic, delicious and worthwhile. If I'm visiting the area again, will definitely drop in and have another Fancy Burger. We'll done!!Food: 5/5
Continually disappointed by the service from Fancy Burgers Blackwood. We are regulars and are frequently mislead by staff regarding wait times… told it will be 10 minutes, to arrive at the shop and be waiting another half hour or more. Customers will have no issue waiting provided staff are transparent and honest about how long the wait time will be. This is forgivable occasionally but this has been the case a majority of times we have visited. Additionally, in the last 6 months we have had - a burger patty with a piece of plastic container cooked into it?! - got home to open the bag with the incorrect order. - got to the shop to hear our order had been taken by someone else, no refund or complementary items, just told to wait another 20-30 mins for our order. Burgers are generally good but management need to change their approach to customer service, encourage honesty, and employ more staff so that they can provide sufficient attention to detail and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
honestly, I can't see how these bad reviews even make sense? from my personal experiences through FB, every one has been positive. don't get me wrong: those burgers are. I will certainly be recommending FB in the future. the chips, on the other hand could be more flavoured, but that was simply not enough to reduce a whole star. we love you George and staff those young guns deserve a raise! top notch service !
FB Blackwood might be more expensive than the other 2 big burger places. BUT what a meal: Beef & Blue Cheese Burger + Chicken Delight Burger + Tall Chips. There's no beautiful taste like it!! FB you should have a restaurant in every global city!! Especially in the Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast.
Disappointing experience! After long time almost 6 years we revisited them again. We ordered three burgers and took us 45 mins to receive them!!?!?! While we could see the stack of cooked burgers in the kitchen. I can tell that they prefer to do the take aways and uber eats rather than dine in customers. The patty was dry and you can tell that it is not 100% meat. The fine grind mixed with herbs was cooked and stacked for a long time. The taste of burgers were not consistent. They became mass production rather that fresh hand craft burgers. The chips and tomato relish were pretty good.
