Story

Faith Baptist Church commenced meeting in February of 2006 with a small group of believers, who were convinced that there was a need for a Bible based Independent Baptist church in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Today we are a thriving group of committed believers who follow the Lord in His will and trust in His Word.

We simply hold to the truth found in the Word of God and avoid the liberalism and secularism, which has strongly permeated the church in these days. We hold to the purity and faithfulness of the King James Bible and sing the great hymns of the faith.

Our doctrines and preaching are only based on the Bible. Faith Baptist Church is founded upon the simplicity of the early church found in the book of Acts. Our focus would come from a single verse in the Bible found in Hebrew 13:8

" Jesus, the same, yesterday and today and forever"

to remind us that it is ALL about Him.

Mission

Our mission is to live our lives for Jesus Christ, to grow in the knowledge of His Word and endeavour to reach the lost with this message of hope which has saved our souls.
