It wasnt really good the treatment i experience in this hospital when i had my first baby. And i was a little bit depressed and its normal for a woman to experience a postnatal depression being judge by hearing someone talking bad things about me, who’s i recognized as a man who dont even know anything about being a pregnant and delivering baby was very rude and dumb. i also remember that rude asian girl in the ward whos not even a midwife. I also don’t understand why you can’t close the door in your room? Because all the babies crying making it hard for other mum to sleep on the time their babies not awake.

Had a baby at this hospital in March earlier this year and I'm still traumatized from it. Please avoid having your baby here as it horrible with lack of staff and women forced to have labor in ward without gas. They induced me 4 weeks early with this gel that takes forever to bring on full Labour. This experience I had there still effects me when I felt a doctor stick two fingers in my cervix that hurt but when she spread them it was the worst pain imaginable...I just keep screaming and I'm usually good with pain and she kept doing it. After that I couldn't stop crying and the doctor felt guilty and told me they usually did what ever she did to me under gas. After 3 days I begged for a c section which they told me I was making a terrible decision and putting my baby in danger but after 3 days trying to bring on full labor I had enough and had a terrible feeling something wasn't right. They finally approved the c section and took 10 goes to get the epidural right....each time I felt the full epidural and my back is stuffed up now. My daughter was too small to push out naturally being early so I made the right call and clearly shown they almost put my baby in danger if I didn't push for c section. Half of the staff are rude and the other half over worked from lack of staff. A iv popped out of my arm the day after my c section and woke up to arm looking like a balloon and hospital bracelet cutting into mt skin. Since my experience I have a phobia of anyone going near my lady part and terrified to get a pap or ever have sex again. So thanks Fairfield hospital for the horrible experience , you couldn't even let me enjoy my visitors in the allocation visitor hours because you decided that my following check up must be the time I told you my only visitor's were coming and I really needed my friends.

The wait time at this emergency department is beyond ridiculous. So much so that you might as well live through your pain at home and just go to a normal doctor the next morning rather than waiting countless hours here. It took us more than 7 hours in the waiting room just to see a doctor, whereas some of the other people had waited more than 9 hours. That's the average you'll be spending here before you receive any medical help. Upon asking a doctor why the queue takes so long, she responded with "It's winter". Uh, okay? What does that even mean? What's worse is that the severity of your issue does not determine how quickly you'll go in. You could've lost an arm and they'd still make you wait half a day for help. A lady was brought in by her family because she had been hit by a vehicle and was losing blood, and instead of attending to her immediately, they asked her to wait her turn. It's as if someone losing blood by the minute can wait any longer. Seriously. They should really consider hiring more doctors and nurses to make this service go faster because this is such a damn joke. A Hospital should never be this slow.
