this is a very nice shop packed full of beautiful fabrics, patterns, threads and everything you could need… however, the atmosphere in here could only be described as hostile. There is no greeting from anyone when you walk in, the staff don’t talk to you at all, which i find really strange, in most fabric stores the staff are so friendly and helpful, but they look at you as if they don’t want you to be there. I witnessed one woman asking for advice on something she was buying and the response she got was ‘it doesn’t really matter does it?’ that’s not great customer service! it’s such a shame as i would have spent more time and money in there but honestly i just felt so unwelcome and wanted to leave as soon as possible!
Nice hidden gem on a side off Hemel town centre. Managed to save my jacket for winter. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good selection of stock, well laid out. However, as a first and last time time visitor I was not impressed with the service I received, explained what I wanted no suggestions, no ideas, no discussion assistant was very monosylabic she was clearly not interested and no bag to put nice clean purchases.
