This EzyMart is a very well stocked large convenience store in the heart of Coogee and really close to the beach. They have a lot of American snacks direct from the USA which are quite expensive but it’s fun to buy them as a treat every so often, especially now that we can’t travel.
Always check the best before & Expiry dates in this store, i have been caught out a few times with out of date products, like well out of date. Even compromised partially open products harbouring mould. It makes you wonder if they get their stock near to expiry so they get it extra cheap.
I was overcharged by ten dollars, realised and returned to the store. The clerk refused to give me a refund then started screaming at me to leave the store. Like screaming in my face. Other customers were so shocked they were laughing and left the store without buying anything. They kept screaming they would call the police if I didn't leave, I just stood there in silence, when they arrived expecting some kind of fight and found this little quietly spoken reasonable guy they called off the rest of the police said nothing would be done about it and I should take it up with ezymart. So I've told their head office. Tourist trap. Avoid. Everything is cheaper in the centre with Woolies metro don't get tricked.
I tried to buy some opal cards but the cashier told me he only accepts cash! A bit dodgy I think Who have cash these days a lot of shops like Harris farm etc. only accepting credit card
Very overpriced. Doubled than coles
