Evolve Fair Food Store

Evolve Fair Food Store is a great place for a relaxed meal in the Belgrave area. They have a large selection of vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options in their food and drink menu. Despite the long name, they are not really a store. They are actually a cafe with some takeaway sandwiches, slices and cakes. We started with some drinks. Their fruit juices are so refreshing, much nice than bottled juices. Our smoothie was quite nice as well, and presented in a nice mason jar. For lunch we had the beef burger. Overall it was a yummy burger, particularly their tomato relish. It was one of the best burger relishes I've had in Melbourne! The fries were nice as well, I wish there were a couple more. I asked for the egg and cheese on the side so my guest could enjoy them. I'm dairy & egg free. The zoodles Zucchini noodles were really delicious. Nice and soft zoodles complemented with carrot, onion and a side salad. It's a good serving size too. This is one of their best dishes on the menu. The staff at Evolve are pretty chilled & give you a welcoming vibe. If you're in the area, I would recommend visiting Evolve Fair Food Store.

My wife and I visited a little while back and what a find. Such a cute, charming venue with really friendly staff. Very relaxing and perfect for our little weekend trip out of Melbourne. Make sure you try the Spanish Baked Eggs and "Smashed" Pumpkin!

Stopped off to yse a bathroom but was pleasantly surprised. This slice of boho love is the first time I've felt at home since I left Byron Bay. Make sure you check out the art on the walls.

Came here for lunch with my friends and their kids, staff were quick to get drinks and coffees out while we chatted and figured out what we wanted. They were also great with the kids, and made our time there very pleasant. I grabbed the dirty burger with bacon, which was absolutely delicious and juicy without being messy. The beef patty was cooked properly, nice sear on the outside and pink in the middle. The chips were super crunchy and I couldn't stop eating them. One of my friends ordered the dirty burger to come gluten free, which the wait staff said was fine, and substituted the brioche for some toasted possibly fried, unsure gluten free bread slices. My friend said it was some of the best gluten free bread they'd had. I also had a sticky date muffin which was huge, and easily one of the best I've had. Strong recommend, will definitely be coming back and exploring more of the menu, as will my friends.

I don't usually write reviews, but I thought this place deserved a mention. Stopped in for brunch today and had the baked eggs with bacon and the other half had smashed pumpkin. Both dishes were amazing! The staff were super friendly, especially the girl with the long ponytail. Will definitely be back!

I went near closing time, I think, on a Sunday. The staff were all super friendly and genuine. I was impressed by the menu. My partner and I had a meal each and share a serve of dirty fries. We throughly enjoyed it all including the tea and coffee.

I booked this place in advance for my sons birthday for a large group. I told them I wasnt sure if everyone would eat. I got there and nothing was set up. They told me they just had a rush because of a large unexpected walking group. We all ordered separately at different times. Some people in my group waited 2 hours for their meals and were naturally upset. The manager came up to me annoyed and explained how my group was complaining and it was my fault because she didn't know how many people would order. I was so embarrassed. I couldn't believe this young obviously not experienced manager wanted to blame me for her lack of service. I used to go their allot before these new owners with my mother's group. Now we never go there as we have all agreed that the food is no longer as good and the service has gone.

Love the kids area where our children can play while we wait for our delicious meals. Evolve offers a huge range of vegan and vegetarian dishes and gluten free deserts. The coffee too is good and packs a punch as do the chilli shots.

Visited for Sunday lunch, and was really disappointed .... was really pricey for what we received. I ordered the Beetroot Salad, I could barely count 4 pieces of Beetroot My husband had the shredded lamb sandwich, highly disappointed. Prices so over-priced for what we received. My Chai Late... was OK... but nothing to rave about, I was expecting a nice pot of chai, with some honey on the side,... instead received my chai already made in a cup and delivered. Staff seemed over-whelmed and it took 40 minutes to receive our lunch, would I go back, I'd have to say 'NO" I would definitely look else where in the area.

Well what can I say. Several weeks after the first private function was held at Evolve, I was able to celebrate my big Bang 60th party there. The catering and food was fabulous and plentiful, the venue was a great size and beautifully presented. We also could add our own flair to the room. Our hostesses Tahli and Denise were wonderful and catered to all our needs There was plenty of room to have an adequate dance area, as well as tables, chairs for people to sit and chat. We had 60 people. The night was quite cool, yet the room was warm, even with the doors open to the lovely, large, covered verandah. There were heaters outside on the verandah as well, and adequate seating. Sound was great, with an option for us to plug in our own choice of music to their system, or bring our own. Thanks to all background Evolvestaff. It was the best night,I absolutely loved it. We have had so much great feedback from friends and fam who were there on the night. Highly recommend Evolve
