I have been going to this practice for 6 years now. I’ve always found the reception staff to be lovely and helpful. I’ve seen multiple doctors and always had a great experience. I regularly see Dr Lauren and Dr Jane and cannot recommend them enough. They’re both warm and supportive and always help me find the best solution. Unfortunately, consult prices have become a little expensive, but l understand this is standard across the industry now.
We originally started seeing Dr Owen Spratt when we were looking for a new GP for our son’s medical needs, and 3 years later we now have all of children’s medical care with him and it the best decision we have made for our family .nnDr Owen is a caring , empathetic Dr who listens to you and shows genuine care in the Paitents health and wellbeing, but also shows true empathy to the patients next of kin’s when expressing concerns , or any issues that may have appeared and is always more than happy and open to working together to try a new path.nnI have walked into Dr Owen’s room many times , feeling frustrated, not listened to by other specialist and on the verge of tears to only walk out of his room feeling relieved , feeling heard , feeling supported and to have a plan in place if something fails .nnI could not recommend Dr Owen Spratt more if o tried . He is definitely a pin in that hay stack and an asset to local the community.
I've seen 4 doctors from this practice for myself and our 2 kids, and they have all been great. Short wait times, very friendly and knowledgeable. The nurse and reception staff have been lovely as well. We are really happy with this practice!
The stars are for the doctors, who so far we have been very happy with, especially Dr Emma.nnHowever the loss of stars is for the rudest receptionist I’ve seen. Who confronted me and my 1year old after he coughed twice after we had been waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time alone in the back waiting room. She demanded to know if we were seeing the doctor because of the cough, carried on loudly about how bad it was and that we needed to be isolated and announced to other patients in the front waiting room to not enter the back waiting room as we were isolated and then sprayed Glen 20 in our direction from the reception desk entryway. Really unnecessary.nnI am happy to observe the medical centres covid protocols and wait outside for the doctor if showing cold and flu symptoms, however he did not have cold or flu symptoms, he coughed twice in the space of 15 minutes of waiting for our appointment that was running late and didn’t cough again during the entire appointment. His ongoing medical condition can cause him to cough the doctor has since explained to me.nnVery unpleasant and unnecessary experience and I wouldn’t go back if it wasn’t my child’s health on the line.nnEdited to respond:nI understand cleaning and spraying is precautionary after patients have left but to spray directly at patients is not precautionary, it is for show and completely rude and unnecessary not to mention dangerous for patients and babies to be inhaling when it’s sprayed directly at them.nNo matter how you try to justify it the way she behaved was rude, there is no need to carry on in that manner and I do hope it was an isolated incident and she doesn’t treat anyone else who has to clear their throat in this manner.nI get that you might be upset when people enter sickthough isn’t that the point of a medical practice!!, but My child did not have cold and flu symptoms and as mentioned we would have waited outside if he did, he did 2 coughs in an entire day or in the space of 45 minutes while in the practice. The treatment was unacceptable and rude.
Never had a doctor made me feel uncomfortable until i went here. Dr Mohammed Alam was very unwelcoming, did not care about my concerns at all and he just seems like irritated and ready to go home, didn’t even answer my questions properly. If i could give 0 star i would. The receptionist was lovely though. Please save your time and do not come here.
