Highly impressed with Service at Osbourne Park Office. Easy booking online. Very efficient and competent staff at depot. Great car for rental fee. Similarly at drop off, staff extremely helpful. Will use Europcar again.
I was quote $99 hire, and opted for $40 extra insurance ie. a total cost of $139.nMy card was charged a larger amount, and they slugged me some bogus made up charges of 'vehicle registration recovery fee' and and 'admin fee'.nThe booking email clearly states that these fees are INCLUDED in the price and they are refusing to refund them.nDISGUSTING and DISHONEST
Staff were great but absolutely crazy that you can't pick up your hire car if you don't have the physical debit or credit card available. Unfortunately I didn't as my insurer organised the car without telling me. I get the security angle but that might have made sense 10 years ago. My credit card details are locked and encrypted on my phone with Google Pay. Someone finding my physical credit card could more easily use it than the virtual version on my device. Europcar HQ needs to catch up and stop trying to push antiquated processes down their customers throats
Excellent detailing job on the car, making it look brand new, and outstanding customer service that made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I’m extremely satisfied with both the quality of work and the level of professionalism.
