I was quote $99 hire, and opted for $40 extra insurance ie. a total cost of $139.nMy card was charged a larger amount, and they slugged me some bogus made up charges of 'vehicle registration recovery fee' and and 'admin fee'.nThe booking email clearly states that these fees are INCLUDED in the price and they are refusing to refund them.nDISGUSTING and DISHONEST
These guys are awesome. The service is easily the best in Perth. They're always under the pump, yet continually deliver quality service with a smile. The prices are very reasonable and the vehicles are in good condition
Exceptional service! The staff member who assisted us apologies, I can’t recall her name, but she had very cool Halloween-themed nails was outstanding. She provided detailed explanations and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. After this positive experience, I will exclusively hire trucks from Europcar in the future!
Staff were great but absolutely crazy that you can't pick up your hire car if you don't have the physical debit or credit card available. Unfortunately I didn't as my insurer organised the car without telling me. I get the security angle but that might have made sense 10 years ago. My credit card details are locked and encrypted on my phone with Google Pay. Someone finding my physical credit card could more easily use it than the virtual version on my device. Europcar HQ needs to catch up and stop trying to push antiquated processes down their customers throats
