Located at 80 Memorial Drive, Eumundi, Queensland, Australia nThese markets have to close to the best, if not the best artists market I have been too. There’s about 600 stalls now so it has grown exponentially since I first started coming. The Market basically takes over the whole town and is extremely popular so if you’re driving, expect to have trouble finding parking .nThe market is held every Wednesday and Saturday from 7.30am until 2.00pm, whether it’s raining or not. There’s numerous food trucks and stalls situated around the market and also there’s great cafes in town but they can be extremely crowded and busy. Very hard to get seats. I did hear that the organisers for the market are extremely selective about who they allow to have stalls, your product has to handmade and also made locally. This pretty much guarantees high quality products as far as I am concerned. I know that over the numerous occasions I have come, I have been so happy with all the great items on offer. You also can find fresh produce from the local area. The market sells everything from clothes, shoes, handbags, handmade soaps, souvenirs, handmade timber items like chopping boards and bowls, confectionary, plants, handmade arts and crafts, paintings and so much more. There’s always street entertainment and buskers around also which really adds to the atmosphere. It really takes you the day to really look thoroughly through the market so I recommend getting here when it opens and plan to stay until it closes. Plus , the earlier you arrive, the better chance of finding a car spot easier. I really love Eumundi and would not hesitate to recommend. Thumbs up!!!
A big market to while away an hour or two. Lots of great food choices. Although rain was a little distracting today, the market has enough roof, shades and weather proof areas to still enjoy the retail therapy. Get here early for parking. Toilets are spread out, nearly all vendors have electronic payment, ATM on site for cash withdrawals. Gardens and green space around the site is very landscaped and tropical. A delight for tourist and locals alike.
Best markets in Australia. There’s over 600 stalls filled with anything you can imagine. Tons of organic, natural alternative skincare, soaps, artisan handmade jewellery, sauces & jams, art, handmade pottery and clothes to choose from. There’s food, coffee and drinks made to order, the dumplings were especially good. You need to get here extremely early to get a park.
You must to go! One of the best market in the country! Open from 8am till 4 pm but go early . Food options is High recommended .
These markets are amazing!! So much on offer from local artisans and business! There are so many stalls to explore and theres really incredible vegan food offerings as well! There were vegan momos, a vegan Cuban sandwich, vegan Brazilian food, and so much more! We had a vegan 'chilli con veges' baked potato that had vegan cheese and sour cream which was amazing, and churros that were also incredible both pictured. Highly recommend these markets!
