Lunch. Australian Barramundi fillet. Porterhouse steak with mash and veggies.nVery enjoyable will definitely be back. Great location with lovely staff.
We stayed 'next door' at The Mantra on Sunday night and went in for drinks and dinner.nnA lovely barman was so helpful with choosing a new drink to try and service was with a smile.nnThere is a fabulous, expansive outdoor dining area plus a small section for smoking with healthy pittosporum plants in-between! The bistro inside Bistro 51 has plenty of tables and some booth style seating aswell.nnI was able to choose my dinner from a dedicated Sunday night specials board. The serving of prawn dumplings was just so nice $22nnMy husband had the chicken snitzel M $24/NM $26.60 but unfortunately it wasn't prepared correctly, it was so thick rather than pounded thinner that the crumbs were slightly over cooked by the time the inside was ready.nnWe finished with a cuppaccino and a piece of chocolate mousse cake, which was served withva side swirl of icecream from a separate cafè area!
Coffee was great, breakfast hit the spot, beach right in front to walk it all off, what else could you ask for?
Tasty food, though more at the expensive end, price wise.
Good size bistro with good variety filled menu items.nPrices aren't to bad.nAlthough the $14 roast was charged at $16.nChicken schnitzel and mashed were nice. Side of wedges I wasn't fussed with.nWait times quite good, around 15 mins.nBig screens around the facility.
