Stopped here for a quick lunch only because the other cafes nearby were very busy and didn't have any seats available. There was only one customer finishing up as we entered, and that should have set off alarm bells. Our table was dirty and had hair on it, I've included a photo but it might be hard to see. Other tables had dirty dishes left on them, completely ignored by the staff who had no customers to serve. The floor was also dirty. Service was poor, the young man was at least a little friendlier than the woman. Food wasn't that great, parma didn't have a lot of flavour and was a tad dry. The sandwhich was very oily, I assume the eggplant was from jar due to the amount of oil. Wasn't a pleasant meal. I saw a couple people come in while we ate, but they only stopped for coffee. Next time I think we'll follow the locals and pick somewhere busy.

I usually purchase egg & bacon sandwiches and toasted sandwiches from this cafe.  They are always lovely.  Today I was stunned that I was charged $2 per sandwich extra for a slice of onion..!! I got my $4 returned as I have onion at home.. this is outrageous, especially how many onions can be purchased for $4. The man that cooks the food is always polite and courteous, but the female worker is quite aggressive and defensive in her off putting manner. Time to find another cafe..

Got delivery for breakie, all I can say is that it was amazing, the coffee was made perfect and the bacon and egg roll was still hot and tasted very good.  Thank you for the good experience, will definitely order from this cafe again

Extremely nice food and service …I’m not quite sure why this place isn’t full ..I’ve been to many cafes in Bentleigh and this is certainly one of the best .. the pricing is very reasonable as well  Kid-friendliness: Friendly
