Great place! Awesome almond crossaints and coffee is always consistently very good. Nice varied menu with specials that keep things interesting as a return customer. Service attentive and warm, keeps me coming back.
What can I say nicely? Maybe due to time of year [new year] service slow despite few customers [although they did pre warn??] but breaky roll stale/hard, egg dry as cardboard but the bacon at least was ok. coffee ordinary. No a/c either. At least I could read a paper whilst waiting. Sorry but I'll never go back. One star for the apology.
Visited espresso 155 for Sunday breakfast. Friendly staff, nice coffee. Spacious and cozy. If there's a little bit of jazz or bossa nova, it will be perfect. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, happy to recommend.
I got food poisoning after eating here! *** I dined at around 2-2.30pm on Friday Dec 9. Had a green juice and a chicken schnitzel sandwich, and tap water. Had diarrhea, stomach aches, and vomited all of the food out by 3.30pm. The diarrhea and stomach aches went on to Late Saturday.
The staff were friendly and attentive and there is lots of seating and space inside. There is also a rear courtyard with additional seating. I might have just ordered badly but the trio of sliders were just not that falvoursome. The highlight of the dish were the chips which were crisp and nicely seasoned. My latte was very average and presented poorly.
This is a great place! Perfect coffee- stong, not milky! Great food - I had avocado toast and my friend something with carrot. We both loved that place. And Kosta - the new Manager - so funny and down to earth guy! Full story: I don't live in that area and I was meeting my friend for a lunch that also doesn't know that suburb. I didn't know any places on Union Road so I googled coffee near me. The rating wasn't great but the funny thing is... I work in marketing and I know how people blackmail business with "I will leave you a 1 star review if you don't give me this and that for free." or "Had to wait 30 min for my coffee." Where in reality it was 10 min but you were already late so someone needs to take the blame. So long story short - give this place a chance and see it for yourself
The 155 burger was one of the best gluten free burgers I have ever eaten. I had it with chicken which was a quality chicken breast and my partner had a delicious homemade beef burger. Great service and friendly staff too. Highly recommend it!
Looking for a new breakfast destination in Ascot Vale but this ain’t it after today’s experience. Arrived at 2.30pm and was told the coffee machine was closed. Too much effort to make one take away coffee. I’ll find another breakfast place.
Well Done to Maria and her staff at 155 coffee shop in ascot vale. I can honestly say the service was warm and very efficient. The coffee was perfect and food was amazing and hot. The Mr Big is big and I couldn’t even finish it. If I could give you 7 star’s I would. Well done again see you guys very soon
Pros: Food was tasty and nice set-up of cafe Cons: Serving size was quite small and it wasn't sit down service I.e. customer to find the menu, serve own water, order at counter, food delivered by server.
