Stumbled on this joint. The place’s busy and decided to give it a go.nnThe overall food experience is not bad. However, the porridge is too diluted for our liking. I also like the dim sum to arrive steaming hot. They are just hot when they arrived. So if you are having your siew mai, in a minute or so, the char siew bao is just warm when you reach for it. The glutinous chicken rice is not coated well, with lots of white rice patch, rendering it not tasteful unfortunately.nnOverall, it is ok if you’re within the area. As I am a little out of range, I might not return as frequently.nnPerhaps I’ll give it another go in a few months time. Never bad to have another dim sum place within reach.
This shop has been there for a long time. It used to only do takeaway, but it has been upgraded, and now you can dine in too.nnThe interior is much better than before. The menu is clear & easy to order. Staff are friendly & polite.nThe food we had in the cafe was good.nAlso good variety of frozen dim sim compared to others in the Knox area.
Small and Nice Hongkong food. We tried the rice rolls and congee here. Also we bought many dumplings home. They are great
A cozy dim sum place in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended their fish siu mai and Ham Sui Gok. They are selling frozen dim sum as well. The staffs are friendly, easy to find the parking nearby.
Eric’s Kitchen is an institute in Boronia. They make fresh home made dim sims, steamed buns, dumplings and spring rolls among other Asian goodies. They have recently expanded their shop over two spaces and have included a cafe. Their dim sims are sublime and are currently sitting at the top of my favourites list. They are open for table service on the weekends. Highly recommended.
