Food is good at this place. Coffee is great but English tea served in a pot with meant for loose tea leaves and small cup just not good enough to go with brekky. The tea bag is hardly dipped in the hot water. Please consider having proper teapot and cups.
Took my mum here after having imaging done in the building next door. We had two medium coffees, a coconut cake, cannoli donut and sandwich. $38nnCoffee was nice, hot and not too milkynCanolli was goodnCake was dry and too sweet for my liking.nSandwich we very tasteless, bread was drynThere were no comfortable chairs to sit on. There were stools and bar chairs, with a back injury it wasn’t comfortable to go in the stool. The ambiance was not welcoming and felt rush even though I asked time they closed and he said 4pm and we got food and drinks 3pm.nWould come back for coffee if I was in the area nothing else. But won’t specifically for coffee or food
I am sad to only give three stars. I had good food there yesterday - it was good and reasonably priced. Today I decided to have a coffee - worst coffee in eight years! Weak, not good quality coffee beans and tastes like the machine needs a good clean. Given that I got my coffee at 0730 that shouldn’t be the case.
Had lunch at the Bakehouse on Tuesday, not a pleasent meal. Took them 20 minutes to make fish and chips, and once it came out was so oily none of the three people who ordered the dish finished their meal. For $25 i expect a meal better then my local corner store. Not going back, do not recommend, go somewhere else and get a good meal.
I was very satisfied with the Mexican eggs on toast and my fruit smoothie. The other food also looked decent unsure why this place has a lot of bad reviews.nnThank you for the wonderful lady that let me print a receipt and found the receipt! 1 hour after i had ordered :
