Decent pork rolls here. Very friendly team. Had the classic pork roll $7 and roasted pork roll $9 - priced fairly but also less meat compared to other stores; trade offs I guess? Personally this was the perfect amount of meat for us as it’s not overloaded. Rolls were fresh but a little smaller. Spread wasn’t so even, so you get some bites dry and some ok. Roast pork was crispy and tasty. Couldn’t really taste much of the meat with the classic pork roll.
Not the best Pork Roll in Sydney but still good!! I can at the end of the day so perhaps the bread wasn't so fresh any more. Flavour was overall quite good, just lacked the "WOW" that I've had from other places. The lady owner is very friendly and remembers her loyal customers.
The banh mi pork rolls here are very likely one of the best — if not THE BEST — in Sydney! I would say the banh mi here is actually better than what you’d find in Cabramatta. The mayonnaise is absolutely divine and the bread is usually quite fresh! Interestingly they put shredded lettuce in the banh mi, which sounds weird but it actually works very well. Definitely a must try if you like a good banh mi!!! On top of that the coffee here is quite good too, and they usually give you a biscuit when you buy one. The Anzac biscuits from here are damn good also. Service is top-notch and very friendly. Pro tip: Ask for no soy sauce in your pork roll.
So, so good. The beautiful owners/ staff know baking. They nail some of the French inspiration from Vietnam. Do not walk by... Drive there if you have to. Simply wonderful
Firm fave no matter how much time passes between visits, it is formulaically perfectly delicious at each visit! Their crispy pork banh mi and rum ball and chocolate cake slice are just delicious! As is the rest of their selection including freshly baked bread and pies.
After reading Google Reviews for this store I decided to drop by to sample it for myself. I can confirm what most other reviewers have written. Convenient location right across the road from Epping Railway Station, friendly service & most importantly delicious pies. I tried a plain meat & a potato pie, both tasted wonderful. Try your own taste test.
It's a lovely place and the guy is super friendly, they just seem to keep getting my orders wrong... I ask for cheese and bacon roll and I'll get everything from olive roll to pineapple roll and never the cheese and bacon I ask for. Bruh.
Pork rolls are great - on par with Top Ryde but without the long lines. Parking right outside is also super convenient and the staff are friendly. Can't recommend enough.
I was shocked when I ordered the crispy pork roll and it was $9 but when I saw the guy im assuming is Dave stuff it with not only juicy crispy pork but with the pork skin too i started to have second thoughts. I knew it was definitely worth it when I bit into the roll, the pork was juicy and the skin was still crispy. The people there are really nice and their vibrant smiles cause you to smile too. They seem like a staple to the Epping community.
This shop has a beautiful aesthetic to it and a variety of products to just make your mouth water! Most importantly though, the customer service I received from Van this morning was amazing. Greeted with a great smile and small chat and some extra chillis on my BBQ pork roll. Couldn't be happier. Thank you for feeding me this morning!
