Tried Xi'an, with its hand pulled noodles in the food court. I really wanted to like it. I enjoyed the texture of the hand pulled noodles, and the owners were very nice, but the flavours were a little lacking. Especially when you compare it to any of the noodle places down Dominion Road. Good portions, reasonably priced. The wontons were bit soft, and sauce more runny than I'd prefer. It was an OK experience.
Located across the road from Aotea Square, Queens Court isn't too hard to find. There are two entrances to the place which is located between shops on the road. It is quite small with shops lining the corridor between the door and the food court. I went there to go to the the food court. The selection is decent with a variety of diferent cuisines to choose from.
Highly recommend Xi'an food to everyone, their hand pulled noodles are just out of this world!!
Yum, love the Japanese kiosk. Inexpensive yet tasty and good portions. Fantastic service from the woman who runs this business. She is so accomodating and keen to ensure you are hapy with the meal. Also love the Thai kiosk. Their crunchy spring rolls are exquisite!!! We like to bring our family here when we are in town. Also, the toilets are really clean, the whole place is nicely kept for a food court. Thank you!
Queens Court is fantastic. Authentic food made fresh to order, served alongside free WiFi and generally an awesome atmosphere for a quick lunch between classes. Lots of choice for your picky friends or those with dietary requirements! Only complaint is the occasional difficulties with finding a seat, especially if you're with a group!
I order from Three flavour Malatang all the time-whether it be for lunch or for dinner, the flavours are always delicious and very solid. Great value and always fast, totally recommended .
nice beef noodle from Three Flavours Dumplings
Awesome moccha and hot blonde behind counter definitely going back
Lots of cuisine inside this Court.
A nice small mall across Aotea Square. It feels eerily quiet, at least the food court is busy and not as quiet as 1 year ago.
