No ordinary gym (we actually don't believe we are a gym at all - that's why we call ourselves a health club!). Think: friendly, casual, non-intimidating, family owned and community focused, about health rather than looks, fun, inspiring, comfortable, all ages (mostly above 30 years), family friendly (Kids Club childminding service). I use the Belrose facility. Although it is not the largest of gyms it has everything I need. What makes up for the space is the quality of their staff. Friendly, engaging, personable and nurturing. It really emphasizes the fact that employees really do dictate the quality.

I love Energize. With the help of the awesome trainers and group exercise instructors, I lost 30kg last year. I've always struggled with my weight and this is the first time I've had the support I needed to get fitter and stronger. Thanks Energize.

The best gym. I joined when I first moved to the area 4 years ago. I met so many friendly faces and quickly felt part of the community. Well done Energize!! Exercise doesn't seem like such a drag :).

Energize Health club is a great local gym with friendly staff and reasonable fees. I've been going here for 2 years now and can highly recommend. It's small so there is limited equipment but usually you don't have to wait long for the equipment you want, which includes free weights, strength machines, bikes, walking machines, rowers and elliptical. They offer classes like spin and yoga.

It's all in the little touches. There's a stretching room, the treadmills have virtual nature walks around the world, the bikes tell you they are generating power as you use them, the decor is fresh and bright, there's a cafe and a free book swap area & it's a family run business, unlike most of the pressurised gyms out there, a nice change!
