The college is not professionally managed. People who work are recruited for a cheaper salary, perhaps, hence they don't give good student experience. There is an attempt to squeeze money at every step. I finished a certificate in complementary medicine three years ago and am yet to receive an official transcript. Now they ask me to pay a fee and a tracking fee, which is nothing but an outright cheating on their part. I spoke to one Ms Nicole, if that is the real name, who said there is nothing that she can do and connected me to a number which was defunct. I am going to complain to a consumer forum
Extremely disappointing, overpriced, poor education, and cares more about money than their students. I began studying with endeavour college in 2021, I completed a Diploma in Health Science and half a bachelor’s degree of Health Science Naturopathy. Endeavour is significantly overpriced, and poorly run which led to a lack of care and support for students. It seemed the college cared much more about making money than providing students with the support and resources we needed. On top of this the education itself was also appalling. After I’d had enough of this I withdrew from my course and didn’t receive any follow up as to why I withdrew which made it clear they simply just don’t care. Throughout my studies they did not allow me to have access to my academic transcript so when I contacted them to receive it, I had to pay an administration fee, and postage fee even though they had never sent me my own results in the first place. I also had to contact them about getting access to the subject outlines from the subjects I had completed since I no longer had access to the LMS. I was then again forced to pay more fees for a simply email with these documents which took them over 2 weeks to send me. You’d think after paying almost $30,000 for 1.5 years of education they could provide a better service and no additional fees.
Do not recommend studying here. The admin were anti-vax apologists during the pandemic, dishonest about the future of the course I was enrolling in leading to wasted units/money, and ultimately inflexible and ableist enough to make it impossible for me to continue my degree, despite my history of very high grades. A waste of years and $$$. If you want to study TCM or other natural medicines, choose a public uni where there is more accountability. Some of the lecturers are very skilled, knowledgeable, kind and conscientious, but others do the bare minimum, have disturbingly warped ideas of consent, or don't have a solid understanding of the content they proclaim to be teaching.
Had an interview with them and they couldn't even get Microsoft Teams implemented properly to facilitate the interview. They don't offer any workplace flexibility for staff and they don't contact people who interview with them if they are unsuccessful. Proof is in the pudding, their students and staff pay the price for such a poorly run organisation! I can see why their reviews are so bad!!
Have purchased a few short corses and have just started one. Only a few pages in and have already come across several careless spelling mistakes, some which change the meaning of the sentence. Doesn't fill me with confidence. The content also does not work properly on a tablet. You are unable to scroll down far enough to click the continue button. Regretful purchase
Horrible place to study, I would advise against it at all costs. Most of the teachers are amazing, some have obviously had enough and dont care about students. The institution itself only cares about money, they dont care about students. Student services are appalling, really overworked staff who just dont care. It impossible to get any help. Its also incredibly expensive to study here, get a degree elsewhere.
Such a money hungry school. I called them 1 day after signing up back when i was 18 and had to pay $900 cancellation fee. Would not recommend this school to anyone.
Lecturers are largely amazing and have enjoyed learning from them. Head office/departments are beyond useless and continues to make unnecessary blunders, errors time and time again. Making the whole experience horrible. If I had my choice again I would go elsewhere.
I am a current student in the bachelor of health science naturopathy. I have studied a social work degree as well as a master of human nutrition at two other public unis in Australia, and i can say the structure and content at endeavour is on par. If you are interested in nutrition, pharmacology, biology, metabolism, herbal medicines, i can assure that you will love endeavour and meet so many likeminded people, in class, clinic and in the student online social groups. I enjoy the flexibility of studying lectures and tutorials online, via recorded lectures and zoom tutorials. It means i can access some classes without having to drive into the city, find parking, and spend half the day getting home. 100% recommend endeavour if you are passionate about health, and committed to your studies as biochemistry, biology and pharmacology classes are challenging
I came to the Melbourne student clinic yesterday for 90 minute consultation. I must say it was the biggest waste of time and my money. Endeavor college is only interested in selling their over priced natural products. When I called back the next day to ask to return the unused items they refused my refund saying it's their 'company policy" . Stay away from these sharks. I lost 90 mins of my time and $58.
