Lovely gardens with lots if tracks throughout to meander through.  Safe overnight camping spot down under the bridge.

Beautiful Park with barely any rubbish and heaps of walking tracks. A must see for anyone passing through or just in need of some relaxation

It's had an upgrade recently...it's got a nice walk that hugs against the river,  a variety of labelled botanic specimens, spaced out fitness equipment along the track and kids play area.

Awsome spot for a over night stay by the river the gardens are beatuifull the councel worker that works and cleans everything is a great bloke to have a chatt with the magpies are frendly lots of cockatoos not much shade during the day but get there late in the arvo and theres lots of shade the toilets are verry clean and well maintained no drinking water i filled up drinking water at a servo so have your own water and your good great place one of the best i have stayed at in my 4000km that i have allready travled from darwin to qld so far

This is a nice place for a walk and stretch while driving the long distances between towns along this highway. The Park stretches along the river and continues on the other side of it as well. There's BBQ areas and playgrounds for the kids too. We'll with making a stop.
