This place is like a hidden gem, about 3 mins walk from the beach, they do lunch specials for starter and main $35. We took a pizza and a prawn roll with delicious dill sauce. Food was superb and delicious. Highly recommended to try this place, u wont be disappointed. Service was very pleasant too, waitress was very attentive and lovely.
Yes to this place! This place was open for dine in on Xmas eve which was a great start. I had the lamb and feta pizza….incredible. Lots of flavour, some how they make a hearty base really light and fluffy also. Would highly recommend.
Used to come here for the best pizza. Drove all the way up from Newcastle. The pizza was unedible. There was 2 slices of onion and some champagne ham on the meatlovers. Garlic pizza was unedited. Threw the whole thing out. Very disappointed. I never leave reviews but it was so bad I had to. Will not return. Definitely not worth $17 a pizza. Domino's is better
Welcome to Embers Woodfired Restaurant Jim the new owner recently moved from Canberra to refresh this location with his culinary delights and fantastic personal service . This is the premier location for eating out in the urunga shire. I recommend trying the chicken and brie pizza with a rosemary and raspberry jam base truly an unexpected pleasure.
We had the most amazing pizza last evening. Authentic Italian style wood fired pie! It took me back to my backpacking days in Venice circa 1983. The staff were friendly and efficient. Looking forward to our next visit! Job well done crew.
One of the best pizza I have had in recent times. The pizza was freshly made and it almost melted in mouth. Loved the margarita. Cordial staff. Well kept restrooms. It's just minutes to Urunga boardwalk, which is awesome place for an evening. Would have been wheel chair accessible if there wasn't initial couple of steps. I would love to b visit again if am traveling in the region.
There's a sign out front of restaurant that states " Best Pizzas in Town" this is untrue as these are the best pizzas in the world , hands down. I've tried a lot of pizzas in my 64 years but have never experienced anything as good as Embers Woodfired Restaurant" and the service is awesome as well, highly recommended
Ordered garlic prawn and chicken and brie pizzas take away. The worst pizza l have ever eaten. Base was undercooked and still had reminants of flour on the top where there was at least an inch of the outer edge that had no topping at all. It generally lacked topping and therefore had a dominant dough taste. Left with a horrible after-taste. Mist of ot ended up in the bin. $58 charged was poorly spent.

Great food, service & atmosphere. Eat in menu is outstanding. Pizzas are fabulously delicious. 5 stars Vegetarian options: Plenty of yummy vegetarian choices. Kid-friendliness: Yes Kids are welcome. Parking: Plenty of on street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for disabled & elderly who may not cope well with stairs. Dietary restrictions: Nice choices for those who have food allergies.
