No hassles from my end. Every time I've wanted an appointment I've been able to get one that day. They have been pretty good when I've had a cold/flu. Very happy considering they are one of the very few bulk billing places in the area.
Seen Dr Minty as was knocked out and suffered concussion. Was charged $70 for this visit which was fine and needed to have a brain scan to make sure there was not a bleed. Dr advised me that if headaches persisted may need a MRI and would be happy to give me a form if this was the case. Called Eltham Ridge a week later and spoke to Olivia on reception, who was less than helpful to arrange this form for me. Was advised that would not get form for MRI unless I paid another consultation fee?? It seemsd to me that Drs are putting patients health over money. Did leave a message with reception for practice manager to call me but that has not happened and do not expect anyone will call me. This practice does not even require one star. BTW my headaches continue to bother me but cannot go and have a MRI unless I have this form.
I have no words. My eleven day old daughter was passing blood in her stools, and the maternal child health line said to get her to a gp asap for assessment. We took her straight in for an after hours appointment on Friday evening, the doctor we saw told us ‘it’s pretty normal’ and to just assess it for a few days. Take her to emergency if it gets much worse but otherwise don’t worry. I had to ask the doctor twice to even take her temperature. By the next morning I was so Stressed, I felt that we had been given the wrong information by the doctor so we took our daughter straight in to the mercy emergency where she was admitted on the spot into special care and extensive testing was done. The hospital staff were appalled that any doctor would dismiss internal bleeding in an eleven day old child. She’s ok now, but god, I feel sick thinking about how much she would have deteriorated if we had just left her for 2-3 days bleeding from her bottom as the doctor suggested. She was SO SICK. I can’t even express my anger and disgust at the complete lack of care shown to my child by the doctor.
Went in after suffering an anaphylactic episode for the first time didn’t know what was happening. Doctor gave me a Zyrtec and told me to just sit and wait for it to go down and then left the room leaving me alone with a receptionist. My mum came to get me and took me straight to the hospital and I ended up staying there for 2 days. Utterly incompetent service that could have cost me my life. A doctor should be able to identify the signs of anaphylaxis instantly.
I needed a blood test to confirm that I am pregnant. When the test came back positive, I asked for a referral to the Mercy Womens hospital in Heidelberg. The Doctor didn't know what the Mercy was, and said he had never heard of this hospital before. He then refused to write a referral, and told me to do another test in 2 weeks to make sure I am "still pregnant." Guess what, 2 weeks have passed and I'm still pregnant, and now seeing another doctor to get the referral I need. I suspect these "doctors" are not fully qualified or lisenced to practice medicine. I believe this is why they refuse to write referrals. Do not waste your time here.
Everytime I have been to The Ridge I have had great GPs. They are busy but seem to have time and I never feel rushed. They work extended hours and weekends so are always available when I need them Really Great Clinic
If I could rate 0 I would, the reason for that is that I was speaking on the phone with this not-so-polite woman from the reception trying to reschedule a Telehealth appointment, an appointment that they failed/forgot to call. But instead of apologising for the no-show she hanged on the phone on me in the middle of conversation.
Dr Peyman Esfahani is the best GP in the town! I travel from Docklands to Eltham see him. Whenever I have any health complications in my family I know he is the one can be trusted to help.
Mr. Dr. Esfahani has been my doctor for 11 years, and he has always provided the best diagnosis and the most complete treatment, as well as a very good attitude and understanding, and I was always satisfied.
Good afternoon, I am writing this complaint as my daughters father, she has tried to get a doctor to write a letter/ report stating her status with the tests at your clinic. The clinic has written one letters prior which not accepted when she was trying to gain employment, as the doctor could not understand what she was asking for and therefore created a useless document that my daughter had to pay for. She had an appointment today with another doctor, who was able to understand what she needed and had access to all her files and test results, but refused to write the report because he was new and did not want to go on the record for a patient he just met, despite have all the relevant information he needed. I find this unacceptable as a parent and once a patient at this clinic. If your doctors cannot perform their jobs, why are they even there. Please have your practice manager call me to rectify this inaction.
