Great place to go for family fun. Miniature rail only costs $3 per ride and playground is fantastic. They had pony rides for children today for only $5.

Such a great local parks. The miniature railway has been there since I was a kid and still draws crowds whenever open. Off-leash dog walking and access to trails on the other side of the Yarra

Great place for family to spend on weekend. $3 per ride on the train is affordable. Suggest to go there around 2pm then it won't be long wait to hop on the train. My kids love this place.

The Lower Eltham park is renowned for its miniature railway, and rightly so. The longest track set up I have ever encountered, coupled with the most comprehensive and realistic train facilities and infrastructure, make for a truly unique and totally awesome experience. Load the family on to one of the dozens of replica trains and enjoy a 15-20 minute run for only a few dollars per adult, children 2 and under FREE (cash only for this wholly volunteer run local institution). After enjoying the trains the kids can romp in the fenced in play area just next door, or head across the cricket oval to the bbq area for a feed with friends under cover. If you've not been here before, stop reading this and get in the car NOW. The train park is an experience that you'll not get anywhere else, and you'll remember for the rest of your life. Seriously.

Great park with a large accessible playground. The nearby ride-on model train is a lot of fun (more so than you'd imagine) and is affordable, but only open a couple of days a week. Park has a large off-leash area for dogs.Walking tracks lead to main Yarra trails, giving access both towards the city and to further easy.
