We were seated immediately upon arrival. The food was beautifully presented, authentic and delicious. Atmosphere was lovely; sea breeze, overlooking yachts on the marina. Clean, spacious, pretty. The staff were friendly and prompt. My partner says to mention that the beer was chilled to perfection.Food: 5/5
We arrived late in Glenelg on Greek Easter and my partner and I were offered a table right away. The restaurant itself was stunning. Live music was playing, other customers were dancing around the restaurant with the staff and the staff were very welcoming, particularly our waitress who was so lovely! We ordered the “taste of Ellenika” option which was $68 per person. Everything was cooked well and packed with flavour. The servings were a lot more generous than we expected and we were left feeling very full and satisfied - I only wish there was more bread and dips as we demolished them before our meat came out and it would have tasted soo good together We would come back again!
Really nice Greek restaurant on the Marina in Glenelg. The food does take a while to come out but its worth the wait and service is pretty good with a lot of friendly staff. If you can fit it in after dinner, ask for the dessert menu and get the Loukoumades forgot to take a pic of that!
Are you hungry? Do you like Greek food? Then Ellenika is your destination. We had the "Taste of Ellenika" and it is magnificent. You won't want to stop because it tastes so good, but you'll soon enough be letting your belt out. And don't miss the espresso ouzo 'tini - it's just the thing. The service is attentive without being intrusive.
So my best friend and I wanted to try this beautiful Restaurant, we were amazed with the food. We had to wait a bit but we didn't mind as we were talking before out dinner came. The plates were really big and great value. I can't wait to go back again and try something else. Great evening and experience. Highly recommended!
Great mothers day dinner! We got the tasting menu. No complaints! So much food we had to take some home!! The dips and the lamb were the highlights for me.Food: 5/5
We all walk out satisfied, everything is absolutely delicious authentic Greek cuisine, cooked to perfection, my Grilled Octopus along with Watermelon salad 5, Our friends Chicken Souvblaki that marinade flavour 5, my husband Lamb rack cooked to perfection 5, my daughter not fond of prawn yet her Grilled Prawns she polished it with Greek salad 5, and we couldn't get enough the Pita entree those Dips I'm particularly can't stop the eggplant dips 5, and leave room for desserts I have the Bogatza yumm, I will recommend the place for those looking for Greek meals and the place is cosy and relaxed. NOTE: this photos does not justify our experience.
Went for tea at Ellenika tonight and had a very lovely 3 course meal. I started with pita bread and tirokafteri dip which was out of my comfort zone but very enjoyable! Plenty to it as well. I then went on to the entree of grilled octopus which was delicious! Never tried it grilled but it was cooked perfectly and the serving size was plenty. I finished off with the main of 'yia yia's' moussaka which was also very lovely. All round great meals and atmosphere. Loved the music they had and the location was gorgeous there was definitely a special Greek attraction here. Rate Ellenika highly!
Such a great place to visit! These guys are the friendliest! Absolutely gorgeous and delicious food, great drink selection! Yes, it is a but pricey but it's all because of the quality. Thank you for a great time, celebrating a good friends 30th.
We went there on a Sunday nite. Beautiful indoor decor and lovely service. The restaurant itself is conveniently located at marina pier and has a gorgeous view. We ordered pita bread and eggplant dip very garlicy and amazing to share and they were both divine. For mains, we got lamb souvlaki and calamari. Surprisingly souvlaki didn't come with any pita bread and it was a tad expensive considering there were just two skews but none the less it was scrumptious. Calamari was cooked to perfection and came with Greek salad & fried potatoes. There is a surcharge for Sunday. Overall experience is very pleasant and enjoyable.
