Is very near the broad beach. Have a good view. We came on Monday morning for brunch. Initially, we wish to stay a little longer to enjoy the view. But the staff is too efficient to collect our dishes and make us pay. There are plenty of seats available at that time. This made us feel unwelcome dispite we do enjoy the food and coffee. Very disappointing experience.
Service was outstanding and food came out remarkably quickly considering how busy the venue was. However indoor seating was very loud and rambunctious, this may have just been due to the amount of large groups seated around us.nnI ordered the southern fried chicken and waffles, I have had similar meals at other venues and they have never been as sweet as this one I ordered today, it almost felt like a desert item. My girlfriend ordered the potato hash and loved it however saying she felt a bit ripped off due to it being mostly bacon and greens having only two tiny balls of potato. She said she could have made this at home.nnOverall the experience was great I loved the location, The food was outshined by the phenomenal service making up for a mostly lackluster meal.
The salmon and potato balls were unfortunately quite salty, and the salmon lacked the expected smoky aroma. The Deluxe mocha was also poorly balanced, making it one of the least enjoyable I’ve had.nnOn a brighter note, the panna cotta was beautifully presented. Its flavour changes with the seasons, which is a lovely idea, but this time it tasted a bit unfamiliar to me.nnThe environment is fantastic, and the service staff are warm and attentive, which I really appreciated.nnI truly hope the quality of the food can be improved to better match the price point, as this place has so much potential. Thank you for the experience, and I look forward to seeing how things evolve.
We had such a lovely time at Elk Espresso. The staff was more than pleasant and accommodating. And the coffees are so good, we went back several times in the duration of our one week holiday. I would highly recommend the iced mocha.
I had been eyeing Elk Espresso for a while after seeing their drool-worthy Instagram photos, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! My husband and I chose to sit outside, though the interior was tempting with its lush greenery and stylish decor.nnOur waiter was fantastic—friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. He recommended two dishes, and we went with the pancakes and steak and eggs. Both meals were far from your standard breakfast fare. They were stunningly plated, more like works of art, and tasted even better than they looked—seriously delicious.nnThe coffee was equally amazing, rich and full of flavor. Elk Espresso is definitely a spot we’ll be revisiting the next time we’re in Broadbeach! Highly recommended.
