Fantastic park/playground located in Clyde North! The biggest attraction here for my kids definitely would be the HUGE slides, however the playground features an assortment of other activities that will keep kids of all ages occupied for hours. There's a decent sized flying fox, a rock climbing wall, rope climbing frame, swings, etc. Also a smaller sized play area here for the younger children that has a sandpit with some diggers, slide and climbing area, and some tunnels to crawl through. Adjacent to the playground is parkland featuring a large grassed area to kick a ball or just to run around. Also a basketball court and smallish skatepark nearby. Plenty of sheltered BBQ facilities/tables/seating just beside the playground, however there aren't any public toilets/baby changing facilities located here, which is a shame.
I had such a fun time here! :-nnThis playground features a GIGANTIC slide that is not for the faint at heart or those with a fear of heights!. The top of the slide starts from a height twice as high as the nearby double-storey houses. Going down this slide provides roller-coaster worthy experience, with high speeds, unexpected twist and turns, and even pitch-black darkness at certain moments. However, do not worry if you aren't brave enough for this slide, there are a few other smaller slides around. There is also a rock climbing wall and rope structures for climbing at this playground.nnThis playground has a section that is suitable for the littler ones, featuring a sandpit, mini slide, smaller things to climb on and crawl through, etc...nnMoreover, there is a sheltered seating area and BBQ pit next to the playground. There is also a half basketball court and a small skate park nearby.
Elliston District Park Playground is a winner!nnThe playground has a massive three-story tower with two epic slides. It's perfect for thrill-seekers with a choice between a fast, straight slide or a slightly slower option. For younger kids, there's a colorful play area with soft surfaces, climbing features, and smaller slides. Don't miss the flying fox and the climbing wall – they're a blast for all ages.
This park is a very good place to bring your little ones come to play. There are so many interesting things for kids, even adults.
There's a huge, powerful slide! We were very excited. We were very excited to go down it, but it can be a little dangerous for small children as it is quite fast. Instead, there is a small slide for the little ones.nUnfortunately, despite being such a large park, there were no restrooms for some reason.
