Story

Located on the first floor of Electra House Hotel, Level One is an award winning modern Asian restaurant with an informed yet informal dining style. The focus is on sharing a selection of plates with your friends – either by picking at a few bits while you enjoy a bottle of wine from our carefully selected wine list, or by feasting on our favourite dishes when you dine ‘Omakase’ style!

With many years’ experience in Modern Australian, Italian and Japanese cuisine, Executive Chef Jamie Kang uses these skilled techniques paired with flavours from his Korean heritage to create a truly unique dining experience.

Steak was cooked perfect. Amazing selection of cocktails!
Good venue, friendly helpful staff. Interesting piece of history which staff seemed to know and were only too willing to share. Good selection of drinks especially gin which was excellent. Menu was small but varied. Highly recommended.

This place is incredibly fancy. It has bad acoustics and talented bar staff.
Really tasty vegan options and amazing, helpful staff. I cannot recommend the vegetable tempura enough. The decor is amazing and great atmosphere.
If you like your undersized gristley steaks both overcooked and cold, with cold dry shoestring fries then this is the place for you! The sauce was good, but not nearly enough to redeem the rest.
