El Patio is an outstanding language school. The teachers are all very experienced and dedicated and classes are lots of fun. I started in  ‘Spanish for Travel’ prior to a trip to Spain several years ago and loved the classes so much that I decided to continue. Most of my classes have been with Isidro or Beatriz - both of whom are amazing! Beatriz has been my teacher for the past year and she has been an incredible support to me in preparing for the DELE exam. I highly recommend El Patio to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Spanish.

El Patio as a school is very well-organised and responsive, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating too. Meanwhile, I have been extremely fortunate to have Beatriz Solera Salgado as my teacher. Beatriz is a highly skilled, qualified and experienced teacher who calibrates lessons perfectly to my ability and capability. Her lessons are always engaging and often fun. Beatriz also provides the flexible, adaptive approach to teaching and learning that I need as an adult learner. I highly recommend El Patio and Beatriz.

I've been learning Spanish with El Patio for four years, first in person and now online. Every teacher I've had has been wonderful. It's always fun and supportive, and Valeria my current teacher is excellent at making online learning engaging and interesting. Such a wonderful place to learn Spanish! I’ve been studying with El Patio since mid 2020 and have nothing but positive things to say about this school! All the teachers are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to teach the material in different ways to help you understand.  The course structure is very clear and you can easily see your progression as you head through the different levels.  The admin support at El Patio is fantastic too! Always proactive in reaching out and are very quick to resolve any issues with enrolment or just general queries.  I have never once had a bad experience in the 3 years I’ve been attending classes!

I have been learning Spanish with El Patio since 2020 and am loving it. All the staff, both admin and teachers, are so nice and friendly. My teacher, Martina, is wonderful and very knowledgeable. She is able to tailor the class to each student's needs. I have learnt a lot and now I'm able to hold a casual conversation in Spanish.

I’m loving my weekly lessons with Beatriz. From the very beginning when I had an intro phone call with Phil to assess my existing Spanish level, I felt welcomed to the El Patio community. Beatriz is a wonderful teacher who connects with her students on a human level, making the learning journey more engaging and fun. By combining my weekly conversation lessons with other learning methods, I’m noticing a gradual but very definite improvement in my command of the beautiful Spanish language. I have been studying Spanish since 2021 at El Patio and it has been a truly wonderful experience! They provide lots of classes at times that are convienent for busy people and I've found both in person and online classes to be engaging and positive experiences. I've especially enjoyed my classes with Beatriz and feel much more confident using the language thanks to her expert guidance!

Been studying online in Valeria’s class since the beginning of the year. Although the class is late, Valeria brings so much enthusiasm every week that time just flies. The pace is perfect for me, learning materials are fun and apply to everyday situations. I can highly recommend El Patio. Will definitely be back for Lower intermediate next year. Oliver
