Absolutely beautiful charcoal chicken in the town. They are always very busy. Make sure you avoiding the picking up hours the toilet hygiene and then the customer service is a little bit leak because of the short stuff but if you wanna chicken go to this place.

10/10. We love chicken and El J’s in Kogarah never disappoints. Had a relative in the local St George Hospital. Got food there every day for 5 days. They gave us deserts daily when they found out why we were there so often. Good food, good service and that explains why there’s always a good line of customers! Thank you Rahul for your incredible service.
I'm a regular customer and tonight i was very disappointed with the service. i made a small order for a quarter chicken and chips meal, and waited over 40 minutes for my order to be fulfilled. the manager, female nepalese appearance, kept telling the workers to fulfil the large orders first and to leave the small orders. I could see the workers were getting frustrated, i had to chase my order up 4 times until it was made, by that time, i was too pissed off to enjoy my meal, will never come back.
The dining area, storage & back area need sorting out. Part of the dining area is being used for storage & staff were struggling to move things around between seated customers & things stored in the dining area. A little disturbing when trying to enjoy your meal with family.nnAnyhow, the chips are crispy & delicious at El Jannah. The crispy chicken burger needed more sauce as it was dry, too crispy even.
