El Capitano
"El Capitano“Old World Pizzas for New Age Sailors”Water, flour, salt, that’s it!El Capitano pizzas are made using certified organic fresh milled flour, filtered water, sea salt and a 72hour fermentation process. The slow natural leavening gives the dough its unique flavour and makes the crumb slightly chewy, slightly crunchy and slightly sweet. This “old world” method results in the breaking down of acetic and phytic acid in the grain, making our sourdough pizza better for digestion. All dishes including gluten-free and vegan pizzas are made in our kitchen not others’.Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced with growers from the Noosa farmers market featuring heavily on the menu.Wheelchair access via Ocean Breeze Ramp Entry."

Really loved dining here! I was sold as soon as I laid eyes in the menu, so much on there that caught my attention and before I sat down I knew I’d have to come back here again lol. The food didn’t disappoint, cocktails were great and service was even better. Big thanks to Mandy our server. She managed to slip us in even though we didn’t have a booking and was really well informed when it came to recommendations and the menu.
Came here for dinner with the wife and kids Service was good Started with prawns and meat platter was ok. I love prawns but this style wrapped in prosciutto was interesting. Pizzas were tasty but end bill of $220 for 4 pizzas and some entrees is steep. Is it better than a dominos? No I like the sourdough base and twist but it was that tasty compared
Lovely ambiance although service was a bit slow. We tried the: San Daniele Prosciutto & buffalo mozzarella - a lot of different textures and flavours, refreshing dish Wild mushroom Pizza - really good base and very flavoursome. Would recommend this Potato Rosemary, crispy prosciutto & burrata special - quite salty and super heavy
The best pizza that I ever had!!! Their pizza dough is the best. Outside it’s slightly crispy and inside is soft like mochi. It match well with any flavors!! The staffs are friendly too!!
Extensive cocktail list, lovely and friendly staff, hip atmosphere and delicious food. You must get the dough balls with the garlic butter. They're amazballs
Completely enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. Since the moment we put a foot in it, the experience was great. Very friendly staff who not only were welcoming but also gave us details about the menu and their own recommendations. We were served by the manager, Ramiro, who recommended the perfect cocktail to accompany our dinner and was very attentive to all our needs. We were even lucky to have live music! The entrees were great and the pizza was the best one we have eaten in the area, super tasty dough and toppings! My personal recommendations? Pickled veggies and the wild mushroom pizza. We are definitely coming back!
The best pizza in town ! It was delicious and full of ingredients . Pizza base was crispy and thin how we love it !! ..It is gonna be our pizza place
I do not have words to truly explain how amazing El Capitano is! My husband and I booked the venue out for a Recovery Lunch with our guests the day after our wedding. From the very first point of contact Lyn was an absolute dream to deal with. Quick responses and so very accommodating to all of our requests. On the day the fantastic customer service only continued. Every guest was greeted at the door with a drink and every staff in the team continued to go above and beyond for every guest. The food was some of the BEST we have ever eaten we opted for roaming pizzas and a seafood station. Our guests are still raving about the food and the large quantities offered! It even converted some non-seafood eaters into loving the fresh seafood. Such an awesome venue and one of the best days we have ever had. We cannot wait to visit again and come up with another reason to book the venue out for an event! :
Pizzas awesome, cocktails awesome, salami and cheese options awesome. Service good, they are good with kids too. Avoid the entree prawns, they were rubbery. A good night out with the family!Food: 4/5
First time here with my partner. Place was lovely and staff very nice. Loved the fairy lights all over the place. Pizzas were ok. not the best ones I’ve had in Noosa, not the worst ones either. But I think what you could definitely improve is the strawberry coconut Sunday dessert. Big portion but tasteless big chunks of hard coconut ice cream with a big amount of whipped cream on top and a few pieces of kiwi and strawberries around. I think it could be better. The live music was great tho.
