I'm sorry to say it but the dinner we had was a bad experience from every aspect. The waitress couldn't explain herself in a clear way, and got us really confused, they said they didn't have a tapas or drink menu, the table next to ours had the tapas menu and the one on the other side had the drinks menu. We ordered dessert and was told 20 minutes later that they finished that specific one and we had to change. The food was underwhelming and not good enough for a restaurant that wanted to be called a restaurant. The management was poor. They need to work out how to work professionally and how to communicate between the staff on the floor and the kitchen. I won't recommend this restaurant until they make proper changes.
Unfortunately I would recommend to anyone NOT to go there. Firstly, we walked in and were asked to choose our courses on the spot - before sitting down. The best of all - they don't have a menu to choose from! Entrees Fish fritters and chorizo were very underwhelming and our main, a seafood paella was the worst dish I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It had about 5 prawns definitely out of a frozen bag and a piece of crab that smelled old and disgusting. Although I didn't eat it, I was too sick to go to work the next day. The dessert was a very average almond tart with the cheapest nastiest vanilla ice cream. I can only warn anyone not to go there.
I went with a groupon voucher. I got so much more food that I was expecting. Wide menu, where you can choose your tapas even with the voucher. They are real tapas in terms of size and presentation. Have read people complaining about the sizes... I am sorry if you do not know the real meaning of a tapa... But as a Spanish, the sizes were completely fine and also the quality of the food. Really felt that I was back home for a couple of hours. Staff really friendly but to be honest, they were just few of them for all the customers. The sangria was amazing!! Really loved the Serranito Will definitely take my colleagues from work there sometime soon!!
Recently 4 of us have visited the place using a $100 Groupon voucher which was valued $297. 3 tapas + 3 cocktails. Big mistake. Who drinks 3 cocktails with a dinner? First we have been informed we can have 1 side and 1 fish or main tapas dish plus Churros. No misunderstanding, but for all of us. I know tapas is to share, but can we have our own selection? After a bit of questioning the idea to have just two options for 4 of us led to a deal: we can have 2x2 tapas, but smaller sizes. We had 8 SLICES of chorizo, 6 pieces of garlic prawn, 2 eggs with potatoes and patatas bravas. If you are not a massive drinker this is not a place to go by this voucher. I understand our 12 drinks could cost over $100, but the food was less than $50. I could not figure out how would it add up to $297 in value. We didn't want to go home hungry, so spent another $66 on 5 more dishes. I can't complain about the food quality, but a bit overpriced compare to the style of the place and the size of the food. Most disappointing Groupon offer so far.
My friend and i bought a groupon deal which included 3 courses accompanied by 3 cocktails each. We were both very disappointed by the quantity. We were given a single serving of both a garlic prawn and chorizo dish to share - we received 3 prawns each and 3 pieces of chorizo each. Overall it took an hour and a half to recieve all our dishes. We left still hungry!
Dropped in for a quiet Sunday lunch. Service was friendly and our waitress made some great recommendations. The pork ribs are a must!! We will definitely be back.
Slow and bordering on rude service. Good selection of food and wine, but a little bit over priced. Would be an option if you're really desperate for Spanish tapas.
You was can drink all you like cause you will be sober by the time you're food comes out. One waiter running around trying not to make eye contact just in case you you want something.
Very warm and cozy, skilled waiters and very tasty food. Typically Spanish, mixed quality and tradition. Highly recommended.
An absolute disgrace .Dreadful service and horrible food . Almost too close to food poisoning . Avoiding this place is a MUST !!!
