Very lucky to have this gem 5 minutes from my home. We have, as you can see, travelled to many countries and eaten many kinds of Japanese but I must say, Ekiben is the definitely the best in Perth and from anywhere else we have gone interstate. The layout is simple, clean with very comfortable seating. The service, very professional and attentive. The food is next level. Absolutely amazing, one of my favourites being their Miso soup. Ordering an Ekiben, a bento, is so well priced for the quality and pure deliciousness of the items on the plate. Everything from the rice to the meat dishes was perfection. Sadly, I feel after being to the place twice now, my expectations of other Japanese establishments will be way too high. I can not say this enough, definitely the best in Perth and this place DESERVES local support. Excellent.
This is an elegant Japanese find in North Perth. They serve a decent selection of bento boxes Ekiben, side dishes and main dishes.nnWe ordered the Miso Butter Salmon Ekiben, Miso Butter Steak, karaage chicken and cold matcha soba noodles. The meals were full of flavour with the butter melting beautifully into the dish. The karaage chicken was crunchy and soba noodles were refreshing.nnThis is on the pricier end but well worth a visit!
Great spot with a nice view of the orthodox church. Air-conditioned and a pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted as we entered, and ordered the Ebi Sando, Hitsumabashi, and the iced mocha and iced hojicha.nnBoth dishes were presented beautifully and the flavours were fresh and tasty - the staff helped explain how to pour the tea over the rice for Hitsumabashi and kept an eye on us if we needed anything. Coffee and tea were excellent too. Highly recommend for the lovely staff and great food, will be coming back here to try more dishes!
Great little Japanese place in North Perth.nWe ordered the Unagi Ekiben and the Tonkatsu Ekiben.nService was friendly and efficient and the food was very tasty and well presented.nPerfect for lunch.

The customer service is fantastic, making each visit enjoyable and welcoming.nWhenever available, I always opt for the sashimi don, which never disappoints. My husband adores their thick and juicy tonkatsu – we've had many in Perth, but this one stands out as the best.nnHighly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful dining outing.
