Takeaway coffee only at 9am on a Wednesday morning. Service was abrupt, distant and unfriendly. Not even hello or goodbye. Shame as coffee was good. Restaurant area is blocked off.
Very funky Cafe with great food. Also the portion sizes were immense. They definitley did not skimp on the haloumi. Perfectly poached eggs and the dishes we tried were packed full of flavour.
Great Ambience and Friendly Staff, Well maintained by New Owners. Fooood was Absolutely delicious. More many Options for vegan also. Must try place.Food: 5/5
Kudos to the kitchen- our breakfast was delicious, the ingredients so fresh and nothing overcooked. Our meals took less than 10 minutes to come out. Coffee and milkshake delivered in record time and perfect. And the prices exceptionally reasonable! This place deserves your custom. Well done
Einstein was a brilliant man, obviously. But he’s been gone quite a while yet he knew exactly what I wanted to see on the menu. Protein breakfast is exactly me. A tasting dish of eggs, bacon, sausage, chicken and beans. I would give it six stars if they would add avocado. Delicious meal.
It was very busy upon arrival at around 1pm on a Friday and the staff quickly found seating and coffee was ordered. The service was very quick and staff were fantastic. I ordered the Haloumi Breakfast as pictured and it was excellent. The size of the serving was better than my expectations. I highly recommend Einstein's 251 for breakfast, lunch or brunch and it provides excellent value for money and the food as I experienced it was absolutely delicious.
Think this place has changed hands. Very expensive coffee, it was luke warm and they charge a weekend surcharge even on Saturdays, even for takeaway. What is that? Supermarkets don’t charge extra on weekends, retail stores don’t charge extra on weekends, if you buy a car on a Saturday it doesn’t cost you 10% more. What a joke. Never going back
On the quiet street of North Caulfield, Einstein's 251 buzzes with peeps waiting to grab a table....Which is quite surprising as not a soul at sight on the street. Beautifully done up interiors gives the perfect vibe of being a pet-friendly cafe. Smoked Salmon Latkes,. Fritters and a Sabich but with meat I guess, do not recollect clearly Everything on plate was fresh was delicious...Yet something seemed incomplete. ...Desired some balance. Hosts are super friendly and pricing compared to portions are good. Decent options for vegan as well.
Came here on Saturday for lunch, plenty of room. We had the Einstein burger, very filling and I loved the Turkish bread as buns. The beef patty was well cooked and flavoursome. Overall top burger. Chips on the other hand were a little over cooked for my liking, too dry without the moist middle. Good experience overall and the staff were very friendly.
Cute little cafe with great service, deceptively big with tables out back. The vegetarian option was rather standard - smashed ago on toast. I added some marinated tofu but the flavour altogether was a little bland. The beef burger was a much better option, the beef pattie was tender and well marinated.
