Beach vibes and cute concept but the service was lacking. We sat outside and it didn’t seem that busy as there were a few empty tables but we waited a while for our order to be taken. Whenever we tried to wave down a server they just walk straight past us? Took awhile for food to come out also. I got the Poke Bowl but wouldn’t recommend it as the flavours didn’t go well together, each ingredient had their own strong unique flavour, and it was all mushy. No balance in texture. I’d probably recommend to at least take out the seaweed salad, less sauce on top and add crispy roasted kale chips.
Fantastic indoor and outdoor cafe. The food and coffee are impeccable. We highly recommend this excellent restaurant.
Was looking for a local cafe to stop at while on the way to Mornington and saw this place had high ratings and what I was craving a BLT with avo.nnMy partner said the coffee was really good and my hot chocolate came with a bonus 2nd marshmallow so I'll chalk that up as a win.nnThe beef burger was good, the bun a little dry but the chips were delicious - good amount of salt.nnThe BLAT was really good, it was what I wanted and was better than the burger, but I will say the bacon could have been crisped up and bit and even had a little less in it. Was delicious, but couldn't finish with the bacon overload.nnWould definitely be back if it wasn't so far from where we live.
Cute little cafe/ general store with a Byron vibe. Great to stop in for brunch after a morning at the beach. Menu has a good variety of options and there are also healthy take away slices and snacks.

It's evident that they put thought into providing a diverse selection that appeals to a wide range of customers. There were lots of great options for vegans and vegetarians. We also learnt the menu changes seasonally, so they don't always serve the same thing year round like many other cafes.nnI would highly recommend the Edithvale General Store.
