About Manningham Uniting Church seek to provide opportunities for Meaningful Worship, Learning and Discipleship, and Purposeful Mission. Story Locations: 104 Atkinson St, Templestowe 152 Anderson Creek Rd, Doncaster East 20 Westfield Drive, Doncaster: 147 Woodhouse Grv, Box Hill North Manningham Uniting Church was formed in mid 2011 when congregations of Doncaster East, Pilgrim Doncaster -The Grove and Templestowe Uniting churches made the decision to become one. The decision followed fourteen months of consultation between the congregations to decide the shape of their shared future. The combined members of the four former church congregations are now engaged in working out the details of their future together and living out that future under the guidance of a new Church Council. There are many active groups within Manningham Uniting Church reflecting the variety of activities of the Congregation. SOCIAL PRAYER OUTREACH STUDY SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT At Manningham Uniting Church you could link up with: -a group interested in doing something positive about global warming and reversing the degradation of our environment -a small group who will pray confidentially with you about your personal, family and global concerns -a group who seek to offer practical support to desperate people legally seeking asylum and refuge -a group taking a pilgrimage walk in the countryside by the river -people who take a meditative approach to personal spirituality -groups who like to walk, talk, enjoy social outings, and support each other At Manningham Uniting Church you could: -seek to know and be known by God -go on a pilgrimage of the heart to prepare for special occasions such as Christmas, Lent, Easter -offer practical help to someone in need -be accepted as yourself"This new Church and Community Centre offers unlimited opportunities for varied and diverse encounters. Come and enjoy a coffee from our highly-experienced barista in the Redgum Café. Come utilise the Youth Space, the large foyer, the wide variety of diverse and flexible spaces, the playground, enjoy the large mural and gardens including shared veggie patches.There will be opportunities for casual get together across all age groups, meetings, food sharing, commercial hiring, pastoral connections, cultural diversity, local art, groups offering a range of activities, social justice, health, IT resources, a variety of worship services and expressions, interfaith engagement, a place to honour and share milestones."
